Noah looked at to digital map. They were zooming past multiple different galaxy's. They would arrive at Polaris in a day. Luckily Chris still had his bag full of food that he had taken right before he left Area 51, so they were able to eat. Just not as much seen as Chris only packed enough for one person. As the hours went on the UFO seemed to become more roomy, it became quieter, and it felt as if they were getting closer than they actually were to their destination. Noah noticed a memory file hidden on the UFO's log.
"We could have saved him. I was SO close, to grabbing his arm. If it weren't for the "super smart pilot" Noah saying we should back away!" Chris said slumping over to a chair.
Noah turned the pilot chair around to face him, "You know I said the same thing about myself when we lost Will. I was only inches away from Will's shoulder. And I'll be honest, I felt horrible having let you down. But when I blamed myself, I felt even worse. I knew if I condemned someone else for it, for losing Will after being SO close, they would feel as I did. I would never wish that feeling upon anyone. So don't blame what could not be avoided onto someone else. Trust me, if you jumped across to Alex's UFO you would be dead too. And I would never forgive myself. I'm sorry we lost Alex, going to destroy the man behind 2187 is what he would have wanted us to do. When we get there and if we beat 2187, we can do it for Alex and Jacob and who ever might not make it there. If we are going to do just that we will need to learn more about our enemy and what we are going up against. Now, I found a data log containing everything we might need to know." They all went to the dashboard to read what might be useful. Cat pull up a data file concerning that masked stranger that took Will.
"It's bounty hunter name is Destiny. It's real name is not known. It's height, 5' 10"! This has everything! Even it's home plant!" Cat read.
Noah looked interested, "And where is that?"
"Earth. Last known Earth city home was in Pintall!"
"No way! You don't think? That she was there when we were there do you?"
Cat shrugged, "It could be possible."
Chris ran over to them, "I think I know who it is! Back in New York there was a girl who was moving to Pintall. She was a good friend of Will's."
"She?!" Noah asked.
"Mmm hmm. And the description matches perfectly! Her height, where she's from, but her name I don't remember. I guess we'll see when we get to Polaris." Chris said hopefully. Will couldn't see. He was in a dark room that seemed to be full of random stuff. He felt around and to his surprise his hands weren't tied up, so he could feel freely. He felt many things, things he could only describe as metal cubes. One of them had a button on on it's side. Will pushed the button. He expected something to blow up, but instead he felt something different. Pizza! The bready texture and the smell, it was all coming together. As he bit into the pizza he realized that his teeth hadn't sunken into the cheese or had penetrated the bread. He realized that he had bitten metal. But as he tasted it he could taste the cheese and the hidden pieces of sausage scattered across the slice. The strange part Will noticed was that he was starting to become full, as if he had eaten the whole piece. He quickly looked for the button and pressed it while thinking of the cube it once was. It returned to its cube state when he heard the lights to the hanger turn on. Will could hear the stranger walk over in his direction.
"Let's see who I managed to catch." The stranger said while unwrapping Will's blind fold. Will was finally regaining his vision. He had a plan, as soon as he was able to see he would kick the stranger in the mask hoping to stun them, then he would try to locate an escape pod, and then get to Polaris. That's where Chris was going right, Will was thinking. The blind folds were off and he was getting his kick when the stranger stepped backwards.
"Wait... How?" The stranger asked itself, the mask changing the tone rendering it's voice unnoticeable.
The stranger started to take off it's mask.
Will lunged backwards in shock, "Wait! Abby!?!?"
"Will!!" Abby said. Her voice, completely recognizable.
