Chapter 6

Mack

I couldn't get his eyes out of my head. They went from the deep blue to blood red in no time flat. I shook my head. Maybe I was seeing things. I walked over to the fire that someone has made I'm going to guess while I was talking to Ambrose.

"Don't walk any closer to that fire." I turned around to see Astrid shivering and staring at her hands. "Astrid, what's wrong?" I asked trying to give her a hug but she backed away from me. "I made that happen." She said. Fear written all over her face. "What?" I just looked her.

"It happened when Logan came to asked me what you were doing with the new guy. I told him that you were just making a new friend and that I really didn't know because I didn't. And then he said I didn't have to cover for someone like you and I got so mad that I started a fire." She just looked at me. "I sound crazy don't I?" She asked. I didn't know what to say. "No." I stated finally finding my voice.

I picked up another drink. "You need some more to drink. I think that's what you need." I told her and handed over the bottle. "Thanks." Said and chugged it.

"Are you guys okay?" I turned around startled once again by Ambrose. "I did it again didn't I?" He asked. "Yeah, you did." I laughed. Ambrose handed me my cup. "Thank you." I said taking a sip and smiling at him.

"So, do have any other family members here that stop by from time to time?" I asked without thinking. There was something about him that made want to know more. That made want to know him and all his secrets.

"Yeah. A brother. We haven't see. or talked to each other in a long time." He looked down. And acted like he was almost uncomfortable with the question. "I didn't mean to upset you." He smiled. "Don't be." Was all he said.

"Hey I need some help over here. Someone just passed out!" That's when his eye's turned blood red again. "Are you okay?" I asked and saw that he had taken off. "Mack. It's Lilith and Logan both." Astrid said as she stumbled to get to me. And called for help.

Everything went by so fast after the medics got to the Falls. Everyone was pushed to the side. Some even asked for their D.Ds to drive them home. I stayed back with Cole to make sure Lol was okay and to make sure we got home since Astrid has gotten drunk and Ty had to drive her home.

"What happened?" Sarah asked as she got out of the car. "Someone thought that Logan and Lilith passed out drunk bit I guess some animal attacked them." I said getting into the car.

"Well you can see them in the morning right now you both need to go home and get some sleep. You'll need it."

Once we got home I went sttaight to my room. I ready for bed and crawled in letting sleep take over me.
