Mack
I saw the rose sitting on my desk when I woke up. I really it was from my brother but I realized he was still in my bed. I smiled and turned back to the rose laying on my dresser.
Shaking my head I woke up my brother telling him to get out of my room. I closed the door behind him and picked out my clothes getting dressed. I smiled to myself. At least today I would see him. And I would talk to Logan about what's going on.
As I walked into the kitchen Sarah looked me. "You look like shit." She laughed at me and shook her head. "Yeah well I'm not the only one. Cole looks like he got hit by a truck. More then once." I smiled grabbing a bowl and making myself some cereal. "Someone say my name?" Cole asked as he walked into the kitchen. "You look like shit." I said around a spoon full of Special K. "Speak for yourself." He laughed.
The ring of the bell made us all jump. School was in an hour but well got up early because Sarah was going on a trip for her job. "Is that your cab?" I asked. Sarah looked at me just as confused. "No." As she left Cole handed me the random red rose that was sitting on my dresser. "Amdrose?" Her asked. "No. It was just sitting on my dresser." I told him and Sarah walked back in. "I think this goes with it." She smiled and handed me the card.
"Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
I killed your parents.
And I'll kill you too."
-K-"So what does it say?" Sarah asked me and smiling. "Nothing. Just a number from someone that admires me." I smiled hoping that she would drop it and she did. How was I going to tell her that after four months I'm now starting to get death threats. You can't.
I sighed grabbing my bag off the floor by the chair. "I'm heading out early. Are you good here?" I looked at my brother. "Yeah. I'll see you later then?" He questioned. "Yeah."
As I walked out the door I looked at my phone. 6:30 am. I still had plenty of time before school. I looked at Jeremy's number. I know his family just got here but I really needed to him about this whole thing. I dailed his number and waited.
Jeremy: "Hello?"
Mack: "Hey Jer sorry to wake you up, but I really need to talk to you in person. Can you meet me somewhere so we can talk?" My voice was shaking as I asked.
Jeremy: "I can't but I know someone who can. Do you think you can meet him at my place. I know you'll miss school, but that the least I can do."
Mack: "Yeah, that's fine."
Jeremy: "And Mack, keep me in the loop will you?" I could hear the panic in voice.
Mack: "Sure thing Jer." I hung up before he could say anything else. I knew why he couldn't see me. Him and Sarah both had the same trip to go to. But I couldn't help but wonder who I was seeing.

It was only a short drive from my house to the Boarding House. Or as most people call it 'Rose Red'. I parked the my car seeing that I and one other person were here.
I walked slowly up to the door hoping I wouldn't scared as I knocked. As the door opened I could feel my heart beat speed up, my hands got sweaty and all I wanted to do was get this talk over with. And maybe even cry a little after words.
