Part 13- Is He Here?

Dipper got out of the cart and headed up to the main door. He rang the doorbell and awaited an answer. The wind began to pick up in strength, so Dipper buttoned up the dark red flannel Robbie gave him at his birthday party years ago. He finally grew into it. Mabel wrapped her arm around Pacifica, who was wearing a sleeveless dress. He flinched at the clicking of the door being unlocked and looked to see who was answering. It was Robbie's mother.

Janice: Oh hello there! Who died?

Dipper: (Awkward) U-Uh.. no one.. I-

Janice proceeded to close the door when Dipper stopped the door with his boot.

Dipper: Sorry to disturb you ma'am, but do you know where Robbie Valentino lives?

Janice: OH! Our boy Robbie? Mmmyes, he moved out with his band. I don't where he moved though. He just said, "Don't follow me, mooooom!"

She said mimicking his grouchiness at the time and giggled gleefully. Dipper sighed somberly and rubbed the back of his head.

Dipper: Alright... thanks anyway...

He walked off the porch and looked around the dark area, seeing one of Robbie's old guitars in the shadows underneath a chair. He decided to take the now stringless instrument with him before heading back to the cart. Soos could tell that Robbie wasn't there based on the face Dipper was making.

Soos: Aww I'm sorry dude...

Dipper didn't respond back. Mabel patted Dipper's back to comfort him. Soos reversed the cart and made a right back onto the road.

Mabel: I doubt he's far....

Dipper: Mhmm...

Mabel: Hey, if I found Pacifica, then you can find Robbie!Just have hope! Don't START. UNBELIIII-

Dipper: Hey Mabel, do you ever find yourself annoying?...

Mabel stopped and folded her hands awkwardly. Pacifica grabbed Mabel's hand showing moral support. Dipper now felt really guilty about what he said.

Dipper:..Uh.. Sorry.. I didn't mean...

Mabel: I know Dipper. You're just tense right now. Because love~

She teased then patting his back again with a smile a little harder this time.

Soos: Let's just get back to the shack. It's late guys...

Dipper: No! I want to keep searching!

Soos: Dude, we need to rest... We can start back up tomorrow...

Dipper sighed and gave up on trying to convince Soos to stay out longer to find his love. He took the small red teddy bear Robbie gave him years ago and and began to feel the velvety material of the bear. He remembered the large teddy bear that Robbie gave him, but he wasn't able to take it with him due to its size. It was still in the attic of the shack.

Pacifica leaned against Mabel, feeling tired from all the drama earlier. She was emotionally exhausted...

Mabel: Don't worry, I won't let those guys get you... I promise...

Pacific: I won't let them get you either....

She responded tiredly. Mabel kissed her forehead and realized her crown was made of wood now instead of silver and diamonds. She decided to ignore it for now. As long as Pacifica was alright...
