It was finally lunch time.
I got my lunch and sat down outside. The trees were beautiful.
I noticed someone else sitting outside as well- It was Eli!
While walking up to her, I noticed she had papers next to her.
Wow she even works at lunch?
I sat down next to her.
"Why are you working? It's lunch time." I asked her.
"I have a lot of work to do."
"Can I help?"
She stared at me and blushed.
Did I say something weird?
"I-I guess.. Here take a look at the papers." She said as she handed me a stack of papers.
There are so many.
"You grade all these by yourself?" I asked.
"There aren't that many, today was one of the lighter days."
Jesus Christ, Shes amazing.
"O-Oh.. Doesn't it get boring?"
"A Little"
We graded papers until the bell rang.
As we walked back in, Eli looked at me and asked, "Would you like to join the student council? I know it's a lot to ask of someone i've just met, but it gets a little lonely."
"Of course!"
"Thank you so much! This means a lot!" She said with a smile as she walked into class.
I felt strange. Is this what people call a 'crush?'
