I walked into the Courtyard to eat my lunch.
I wonder where Eli is.
Maybe she's sick?
Just then Eli ran up to me with a bag.
"Nozomi!" She said panting.
Is she okay?
She gave me the bag, and as I opened it I saw what looked like large chocolates.
"They're chocolate covered prunes. We eat them all the time at home," She told me.
"T-Thank you," I managed to stutter.
"This is my thanks for helping me with the Student Council work."
"You didn't have to do this for me.."
She blushed and giggled.
"Go on, try one."
I took a bite out of one.
They were amazing.
"Wow.."
"Do you like them?"
"Yes!"
She giggled again.
"You have chocolate on your nose"
I wiped it off and laughed.
"I guess I got a little carried away."
We talked for the rest of lunch then went back to class.
