I wake up when I hear someone knocking on Maya's door.

"Honey, open up I brought you some soup", I hear a woman's voice.

"Shit, that's my mom", Maya says.

I jump out of the bed and look for my car keys around Maya's room.

"It's not that I don't want you to meet my family, but they don't know I'm gay and if they found out that I was and that my crush spent the night, that wouldn't be cool", she panics.

"Don't worry about it," I understand, I reassure her.

"Oh here is your keys", she whispers.

"Thanks," I say before opening her window.

"Wait", Maya whisper yells.
She runs over to me and kisses my lips softly. I tilt my head in an attempt to deepen the kiss but she pulls back and giggles.

"Gooo", she pecks my lips one last time before I climb outside.

I start my car and drive back to my house.

I open my door only to be greeted by my favorite pup, pupper.

"Hey boy! I missed you so much", I say while petting my furry little pup.

"Where the hell have you been", my mother's voice boomed through our house.

"I was not at Maya's house all night I swear!"

"You could have told me! I was worried sick," my mom said.

I walk over to her and engulf her in a tight hug and kiss her cheek.

"I'm sorry mama but I loooove yoouuuu." My mom laughs.

"I love you too but if you had sex I will take the time to personally kill you."

"Mommm," I blush.

"We didn't have sex okay! I just wanted to stay with her and make sure she was okay. She was sick yesterday y-know."

"Is she okay?"

"She sounded and looked better this morning."

"Awww my baby is growing up, taking care of her woman and stuff," my mom coos while messing with my hair.

"Mom stoop," I giggle.

"I asked her on a date yesterday", I say.

"And what did she say?"

"Well she said, and I quote, nothing would make her happier."

"Awww, this is too cute!"

My phone starts vibrating in my pocket.

"Hallo?"

"Hey, gorgeous you wanna hang out with me and my friends today? You could bring some friends if you want," Maya's voice speaks through my phone.

"Absolutely! What time should I meet you and where?"

"Uhh we can meet at the mall around 12, is that cool?"

"It's perfect! See you seen cutie," I say.
Maya giggles.

"K see you soon."

I hang up the phone.

"Going somewhere," my mom asks.

"Uh, can I go to the mall in like an hour?"

"Sure, just be safe."

"Will do," I reply.

I dial Taylor's number.

"Hello", she answers.
