I wake up to the smell of burning bacon. My girlfriend is no longer wrapped in my arms, and the sun shines bright through her window. I rub my eyes, adjusting to the light, when Maya walks into the room.
She smiles at me and climbs in bed next to me, playing with my hair.
"Good morning lover girl," she coos.
"Good Morning cutie", i giggle.
I made you breakfast, she kisses my cheek.
"You, Cook," i ask curiously.
"Well, cook is a strong word", she says.
"But i did my best, so c'mon and eat with me," she says in a baby voice that she only uses with me.
She pulls me out of bed and into her kitchen and my heart melts.
"Babe", i coo, wrapping my arms around her waist. She bites her bottom lip.
"Do you like it," She asks, a small blush on her cheeks.
"This is the cutest thing, anyone has ever done for me", I giggle.
"I love it, but not nearly as much as I love you," I peck her lips.
We sit down and start eating and the meal is surprisingly good, minus the bacon...
"Where's your parents," i ask curiously.
"Moms at work and Shawn is at Riley's."
"Oooh yeah, Shawn and Corey are like super close right," i ask.
"Yeah, they are like in second place for worlds bestest buddies," she says.
"Who is in first place," i ask.
"Me and Riley obviously", she snickers.
"Right, right," i laugh.
"So what do you want to do, later tonight ," I ask, sitting on her lap.
She smirks.
"I wanna show you a little bit of 'Maya the rebel'," she kisses my cheek.
"Im down to see that", i giggle.
Maya showers, and then i shower after her. My eyes widen when i see her outfit.

After the sun had set we walk down to the subway, which is filled with all types of people. Everything down here is so much different than what im used to. Its similar to Maya in a way because its mysterious, yet oddly beautiful. I feel like the subway is some type of simile, a philosophical one, but still.
