After hours of airport security, baggage checking, and some gross airport food, I was finally on my way to North Carolina. Anna had secured a hotel room for me to stay in while I was there. It was conveniently only five miles away from the school and 7 miles away from the Grier household. While I was on the long flight over, I examined the files and watched all of Nash's vines. I learned that he lived with his mom Elizabeth and his dad Chad, and he had an older brother named Will and two younger siblings, Hayes and Skylynn. I looked at the picture attached of the 4 year old girl and smiled. She was adorable. I discovered more useful facts, like that he goes to Davidson Day High School and he plays lacrosse. Afterwards, I went on his vine and scrolled through some of them. They were hilarious! I could see why he was so popular. My favorite vines were the ones that he did with Skylynn. I always wanted a little sister, and I adored little kids. After I had watched all the short videos, I rested my head and closed my eyes, deciding that a nap was going to be needed for my long day ahead of me. I start school there tomorrow, so I might as well rest while I can.

As soon as I got into my hotel room. I collapsed onto the bed. I was surprised at how nice it was here, I had a small kitchen already stocked with food, with a small living room area attached. The TV was pretty big, and the couches were nice. I had a queen sized bed all to myself, and my favorite part was the jacuzzi tub in the big bathroom. I unpacked my clothes and toiletries, and crawled into the warm bed. It was already 11:25, and I didn’t want to be exhausted tomorrow. It didn’t take long before I was away in dream land.

I woke up the next morning to the sound of my alarm clock beeping rather loudly. I rubbed my face and groaned. I am not a morning person. I looked at the clock, and saw it read 7:05. Crap! School starts at 8! I leaped out of bed, and took a quick shower before blow drying and straightening it. I I rushed to my dresser and grabbed a t-shirt, skinny jeans, and a pair of vans, put them on, and grabbed my back pack and all my books. There was way I was going to make it through the day without coffee, stopped at Starbucks to bought one.  I drove to the school, courtesy of EPPA for the silver Ford Focus they gave me. When I rushed into the office doors, it was already 8:10, and silently swore at myself. Way to make a good first impression. I will most likely be leaving out this detail when I report in tonight.

I was greeted by the Principal, who lead me into his office and sat me down.

“You must be the new student, Molly Blue. Nice to meet you, I’m Principal Jones. Lets get you your new schedule shall we?” He said, greeting me with my fake name. Anna thought it was funny to keep up a theme of replacing my last name with different colors, because my real last name is Green.

I already knew that I had an identical schedule as Nash, and so I knew what classes I had. To my relief, he was in some AP classes.  That was good for me, because I had already learned most of the things that normal sophomores do at headquarters. I didn’t want to be bored out of my mind.

“Here you are, and your first class is AP Biology” he said handing me my schedule. “Good luck, and if you have any questions or need any help be sure to come by,”

“Thank you, I will,” I replied with a smile. I made my way through the halls, trying to navigate to my first class. When I finally found it, I slowly entered the room. Immediately, I spotted Nash sitting near the back.  I smiled at him, and he returned one.

“Hello, you must be Molly. Please, find a seat wherever there is an empty desk,” she said, and I took a seat a few desks away from Nash. I began analyzing the classroom and the students for any signs of potential threats, but all I got was a bunch of bored or sleeping teenagers. Finally, I was able to relax, and I took out my folder to take notes on the lesson, even though I already learned about interphase and mitosis. I caught Nash glancing at me every now and then, and I did the same. He seemed like a chill guy, but a social one, by the way that he talked to his friends. It was pretty easy to figure out what Nash was like.

When the class finally ended, I walked up to Nash. Okay, here it goes.

“Hi, I’m Molly, but you can call me Mo. Actually, call me Mo I hate Molly,” I say to him. Now that he is standing right next to me, I realize how gorgeous his bright blue eyes are. He is super tall, and all around hot. I’m not going to mind this at all.

“Hey Mo, I'm Nash.. Or do you already know me?” he said laughing.

“I have seen your vines, there decent,” I said giving him a playful smile.

“Good to know, well maybe you could let me know how I can improve them then,” he answered, laughing again. So far so good.

“So what class do you have next?” he asked me.

“Foods, you?”

“Same! Here, ill show you the way to the class room. Sorry, this school is hard to navigate for the first time.”

We both walked through the hallways and talked all the way to the Foods room. I could smell cookies from the previous class, and got excited. Nash let me be in his group, which consisted of two other guys. He introduced me to them, saying that their names Cameron and Matthew. I recognized them from some of his vines. I said hi, and we went into one of the small kitchen units and waited for instruction from the teacher. I was delighted to find that we were making chocolate chip cookies. I was a die hard chocolate fan.

By the end of class our kitchen was a mess and flour was in my hair, thanks to Nash. We made the mistake of putting Matt and Cam in charge of watching the cookies bake, and they turned out burnt. We ate them none the less. The rest of the day went by great. I met a few of Nash's other friends, and got some phone numbers, including Nash's. This was way easier than I thought it was going to be. Luckily Nash is a social guy, and I get the feeling he likes me.

I drove home with Nash in my mind. For a second, I forgot I was even here on a mission, it felt more like I was just a normal teenager again.

I let out a long sigh. I can't remember the last time I did normal kid stuff, like having a sleep over or going on dates. It was always training and waking up at 5 in the morning. The closest thing to a date was when an agent named Luke and I practiced physical combat together and then went and stole ice cream from the cafeteria. Don’t get me wrong, I love training and the rush it brings knowing I can save a life, but it will be nice to live like a normal kid again.

Once I got up to my room, I took out my laptop and sent David and Anna my report. It was pretty simple, just explaining how the school day went, and meeting Nash. I never noticed anyone who looked like they were out to get him, so I assume its someone outside of the school system. After it sent, I went into my small kitchen, made myself macaroni and cheese, and turned on the TV to Modern Family. Whenever our mentors allowed us to watch TV or movies, we would watch Modern Family. Maybe it was because it reminded us of our own families.

Most of the Agents lost their families, or ran away from them. It was kind of like a home for anyone who was lost or sad or confused. Everyone there was my family.  Not by blood, but because they are the ones that I love and care for.

After a few episodes, I retired to my bed, and took out my phone. I was happy that I got an iPhone, because every other mission I got a crappy flip phone. For safety, we weren't allowed to have a phone when not on a mission. It didn’t matter anyway. There was no one we needed to text or call, we could just walk across the hall and find.

I noticed that I had a text from Nash, and opened it.

Nash:

hey, just wanted to say goodnight. cant wait to see you tomorrow:)

Me:

haha cant wait to see you too ;)

A smile fills my face, and I put my phone onto the night stand. I close my eyes, and slowly drift into a peaceful sleep.
