In which Mara will follow her staff-wielding best friend, a shady guy she met a day ago, and Dameron's cute droid across the stars to save the galaxy, all while making witty remarks to attempt to out-sass Han Solo and trying not to dig up her past in the process.
REVIEW:
Despite the fact that I haven't read this story in its entirety yet, I'm totally in love with it! Mara is such an interesting and compelling character, and I love that she was named to honour Mara Jade of the now non-canon Star Wars EU.
Mara always seems to have a witty comeback to anything that anyone says, no matter the situation. Her relationship with Rey is awesome and I find it to be very realistic. Her relationship with BB-8 is adorable, as is BB-8.
Her backstory has not yet been revealed to me, and I've only been given little hints and clues that are very compelling to read more. Everything about this story makes me want to read more and to discover as much of it as I can.
The writing itself is beautiful. Not only is the grammar, punctuation, and structure proper (which makes me smile), the sentences and the actual content is beautifully fit together to make me want to keep reading.
