~Heather's POV~

I ran through the hallway, checking every classroom. Nothing. I ran until I came to the end of the hallway. Still nothing. I leaned on a random locker and sighed. Where could he be? I haven't talked to him all summer, and I was starting to worry.

Then my friends came up to me. "Hey," Kirsten said. Jenna then looked at me and exclaimed: "you look like you just ran around the school 5 times!" I gasped. "Really? Do I really look that bad?" Both my friends laughed and Kirsten said "No, Jenna is just overreacting," She turned to Jenna and said "again!"

That's Jenna for you, always trying to be funny. Well, if you ask me, that wasn't funny. "Ok, seriously what were you doing?" Kristen asked "I was looking for Theo. He hasn't talked to me since two days after school ended." I had asked him to come to the mall and hang out with me that day but he had never showed up, even though he said he would.

I went to my locker to grab my stuff. I looked at Theo's locker, across the hall. This was senior year, it was supposed to be the best year of high school, but it would be the worst if Theo wasn't here.

The bell rang and I went to my first class for this year. I went to my class and took my seat by the window and looked out the window to the forest as I remembered me and him running through it last year. Where was he?

~Theo's POV~

I was looking out at the school I went to. This year was supposed to be my senior year, but I couldn't go back not now. I just hoped Heather was ok. Then I heard a twig snap and I turned around and saw Carter, my only friend in the pack.

"Hey," he said. "Hey," I replied. "You know you should be asleep?" he asked. "yeah, and so should you," I said. He changed the subject "what are you doing here?" "Just looking at my old school... I can't go back there." I replied.

"Alpha will want you to go back for your last year of school," he said. "Really?" I said as I glanced back at the school. "Yeah, you didn't think I was born this smart did you?" he said. I laughed. "No, I thought you were homeschooled." "let's go get some sleep," he said. "Ok," I answered.

~Heather's POV~

The bell rang as school ended. Still no sign of Theo. Where is he? I ran to catch up with my friends in the school yard. "Did you see Theo today?" I asked. "Nope." They both replied. "I'll see you tomorrow I have to get home early today," I said. "Ok bye." They replied. and I ran to my house.
