Almost a week!
It's almost been a week that I left Zayn. I have been going to school and work to keep my mind off things, but work just reminds me of him. I know he watches me from time to time when I go and leave from work.
I have been crying for days. My heart feels so broken. I feel like I lost a piece of my heart and it isn't healing. I am in love with someone who needs me more than I need him. I want to talk to him and just run into his arms, but damn my stubbornness.
I was now going to work like I do everyday. I walked threw the door and Simon waved to me, so I waved back. I really wanted this to be over. I feel like I can't breathe when I step through those doors. Everyday I have stayed in bed and did nothing. Roxy is really worried about me, so she is making me go out with her, the boys, and Drew tonight.
I walked into my office and closed the door. I sat in my chair and slammed my head on my desk. I really want to leave. I should visit my parents soon. I need to clear my head for a little bit.
I was answering calls left and right. I really wasn't in the mood. I heard the phone ring again and rolled my eyes.
"Elena Hart speaking." I said, trying to be nice.
"Elena, it's Zayn." My heart dropped.
"Y-Yes?" I asked, biting my lip.
"I need you to reschedule my meeting with Quinn. Push it for tomorrow at 4pm."
"I got it." I said, holding the phone closer to my ear. I missed his voice. I miss him.
"Thank you." Zayn said, hanging up. I felt tears form and wiped them quickly. I heard a knock at the door and cleared my throat. "Come in."
"Elena, did Roxy tell you?" Niall said, walking in.
"Tell me what?" I asked, raising my eyebrow.
"You have to pick up Drew after work because he's at your flat and Roxy is all the way over Harry's, so she said it would be easier." Niall said smiling.
"Alright. Thank you." I said, trying to keep my sadness in.
"I know you're hurting, Elena. You can't hide it. Zayn is hurting to, he thinks we can't tell the difference, but there is a big difference." Niall said, walking back towards the door. "You two should work it out."
"Thank you, Niall." I said smiling.
"Always welcome." Niall left and closed the door behind him.
I worked my butt off and had to inform Quinn about the meeting change. I really didn't want to call her, but work is work. I picked up the phone and dialed her number.
"Quinn Williams." I heard Quinn say.
"Mrs.Williams, I am calling to inform you that Zayn had rescheduled the meeting for today for 4pm tomorrow." I said calmly.
"Elena?" Quinn asked.
"Yes." I said and rolled my eyes.
"I told you so." Quinn said and hung up. I let my mouth drop and slammed the phone down.
I heard a knock at the door again and rolled my eyes. Can I have a second to breathe?
"Come in!" I yelled harshly.
"Elena, I have to discuss some things with you for Zayn." Simon said, sitting on the couch.
"Go ah-" I was cut off by my phone vibrating. "Hold on, Simon."
I pulled out my phone and it was a text from Drew. I decided to read it. I opened the message and it wasn't good.
"Elena! I think someone is in the house. I don't know who it is, but I heard a gun get loaded. Be careful." I read Drew's text and my heart dropped. If this had anything to do with Kristen, then she was going way to far.
