Chapter 2

Haru's POV

"Ren? Ren!"

I turned to Aki who was staring at me with a deadpanned expression.

I blinked, about to say something only for Aki to walk up to me and slap me across the face. He brushed past me and stopped at one point before continuing to walk.

"Ak-"

I stopped mid-sentence when Aki stopped and put his foot down particularly harshly.

I turned around completely to face him to see him sighing in frustration.

"Figure it out, moron!"

Ren's POV

I started walking down the stairs deep in thought only to bump into Haru himself.

"Re-"

"It's okay, you don't have to worry, I got these bruises from working with gramps."

So you can stop being my brother, even if it's for a while...

Thinking quickly not wanting Haru to be suspicious I looked him in the eyes.

"It was my fault, I should've been more careful while doing my job. Sorry."

"Okay...since its Saturday are you doing anything?"

I looked down again, shifting my feet uncomfortably, the whole situation was very awkward and I wanted to leave it as soon as possible.

"No....I was planning on staying home today to catch up on a book." 

A split second later, Haru pulled me into a tight hug, pulling me into a soft, gentle kiss afterwards. I pulled away once I ran out of breath, panting a bit heavily and feeling light-headed.

How can I get Haru to stop being my brother all the time, how can I get him to understand?

I stumbled back slightly when I felt Haru rip away from me, slowly backing away dangerously close to the stairs......

His eyes were wide, staring at me as if horrified and shaking a little.

"Haru..?" 

Just as I'm about to speak again, I cut myself off as I ran towards Haru quickly, using all my strength to yank him back up; given he was bigger, taller, and heavier so he wouldn't fall down the stairway. 

"Ren-"

"You don't have to say anything....I know...."

We embrace in another hug as I bury my face into Haru's chest, inhaling the scent.

Haru wrapped his arms around me tighter leaning down to my ear to whisper, and before I know it, tears are streaming down my face.

Please forgive me....

I was getting ready for bed and about to turn the light off when the door was opened. Knowing it was Haru this time, I quickly dived under the sheet, snuggled my head into the pillow trying to soften and slow my breathing, and closed my eyes so it would seem I was sleeping. I figured I could let Haru think that I forgot to turn the lights off. I tried not to fidget or make any movement as he made his way closer to the bed. Sitting down on the edge making it creak slightly, I felt Haru's hair softly graze my cheek as he bent his head down.

"Ren? I know you're not awake, you know."

Opening my eyes I shifted slightly and turned to look at him.

"Why are you glaring at me? Are you still mad?"

I looked away and stared at my hands which had become very interesting all of a sudden.

"My face always looks like this."

For a few minutes there was a thick, suffocating, heavy silence and very awkward atmosphere in the air.

"Haru...."

I grabbed Haru's arm suddenly and pushed up the sleeve before opening my mouth and biting down harshly, licking the mark. I pulled Haru in for a hug as he lifted me up; wrapping my arms around his neck, I sighed contentedly and closed my eyes. When we reached Haru's room, he laid me down on the bed gently pulling the sheets over me. I began to feel drowsy as I slowly let sleep overtake me opening my eyes blearily, Haru's face and body hovering over my smaller frame with a gentle smile and soft eyes. Feeling Haru kiss my forehead, I closed my eyes again muttering one final thing before falling asleep.

"I forgive you..."

Hey guys, It's been a while since I've updated this story. This chapter is more of a filler/make-up chapter, not much happens in this one. I'm kinda stuck and don't really have any ideas or a developing plot, so I need your guy's help; feel free to comment if you have any ideas, or feedback so I can make this story better.
