Gerard's P.O.V:
I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock and quickly got out of bed. It was yet another wonderful Monday, so I had to go to work. I sighed, knowing that the day was going to be long and boring. I got dressed, throwing on a leather jacket over my black t-shirt, the two articles going quite well with my black Skinny jeans. I brushed my teeth, than ran into the kitchen for a piece of luscious TOAST. I hurried out the door and got in my car. I was running a little late, so I went just a little faster than usual. I pulled up to the office building I worked at and parked out front, rushing in as not to later then I already was.
Frank's P.O.V:
I got to the mall I worked at early and opened up the store. I work at hot topic and it is the best job ever. I walked into the store, sat down, and got my phone out, waiting for the store to open up.
Gerard's P.O.V:
Today was even more boring than usual. I had to sort papers for about three hours. Without thinking, i pulled out a ballpoint pen and drew a design on my wrist, a music note in the middle of a heart beat. A line going up and down until eventually going flat. As I realized what i was doing i stopped, and stared down at my wrist, looking at the design. But the design wasn't there anymore. I jumped up, startled, and accidentally knocked over a glass of water, which fell to the floor and broke. I blinked and looked at my wrist again. I had heard about this. Stories of tattoos disappearing, and showing up on someone else's skin... no. Not just someone else's skin, the someone. Your soulmate. It barely ever happened anymore, as no one would ever care enough to notice. I looked at my wrist again. It was completely blank. My thoughts were interrupted by my boss walking in. Staring at the mess, of broken glass and water on the floor, he turned to me. "care to tell me what is going on in here?" he whispered. Dangerously. That was not good. He gets angry quickly, and will fire you without thinking twice about it. "sir, I..." "you know what, never mind. You're fired."
The words echoed around my head. Fine. I hated this job anyway. I grabbed my bag, shoved my computer into it, and stormed out of the building to my car.
Frank's P.O.V:
the day was going pretty well, and it was break, so i went to go get lunch at the food court. As i walked over, i noticed something. There was a small design on the bottom of my wrist that hadn't been there earlier. I stopped moving and stared at my arm. That was weird. I blinked and looked again. I didn't draw that. Maybe someone had drawn it on me when i wasn't looking, as a prank or something. Or what if... no. It was impossible, that kind of stuff didn't happen anymore... or did it? I walked to a table and sat down, still staring at my wrist. Slowly, i reached into my pocket and grabbed a pen before uncapping it and pressing ro tip to my arm. I drew a small circle on my arm and pulled the pen away. I watched in fascination as the ink disappeared into nothing. Like it was never there. No. This could not be happening. I rubbed my eyes and looked again. Still nothing. I picked up the pen again and started writing 'hello'. The ink disappeared again, like it was never there.
Gerard's P.O.V:
I pulled into the mall parking lot and just sat for a minute. Closing my eyes, I took a couple deep breaths and then got out. I needed to get some food and think things over. As I pulled the door open, I saw my arm. It had writing on it. Wait what??? I looked again. A small 'hello' in messy handwriting, and a little dot, as it someone was testing out a pen. Slowly walked to the food court and collapsed into a chair. I took a pen out of my pocket and scribbled a little note onto my arm. 'who are you?' the person wrote back immediately. 'my name is Frank, who are you? Whats going on?' I looked at my arm, not believing what I was seeing. By now I knew what was happening. I was talking to my soulmate. But it wasn't a girls name on my arm. 'I'm Gerard. And I think there's been some sort of mistake. We need to meet, can you come to the mall?' Frank responded with 'I am at the mall, in the food court, where are you?' I looked up. I stood up and looked around... and saw someone else stand up too. He was wearing black jeans and a blue t-shirt, and had black hair. My eyes met his, and I knew there hadn't been a mistake. ;D
