Chapter 12:Who is she?

"Are you the one that turned those innocent people into monsters." Luke said as he pointed his sword at her.

"They are not monsters they are my cute babies awakened with the power of darkness, aren't they adorable?" She asked while smiling widely.

"Your are one sick pretty lady, no wonder they call you a witch." I said while cracking my knuckles.

"Is that what people are calling me nowadays, such a simple word to describe an overlord like me. You humans are so simple minded and all the same, its all so boring. I'm gonna save the world, I'm gonna destroy the demon king, just pipe dreams and the same with all of you. She said mockingly.

"I never asked to be here and who said I wanna do all of that, I'm just trying to survive so lets start with you turning those villagers back into humans and me punching you in the face for being evil." I said.

"I would like to see all of you try." She laughed as she waved her hand and a transparent orb surrounds each of us. I tried punching it but it didn't budge, I could feel it slowly sapping on my strength."

"You cant just go breaking my toys,such a bad boy you are. These orbs are special they take your happiest or heartfelt memory and corrupts it turning it into your worst nightmare and sapping away at your fear and therefore turning you into my little puppets. I could hear Luke screaming out "Brother don't go there, I don't wanna lose you." and continuously screaming and Jake was screaming "Mother where are you, I cant find you." they were in pain I need to help them.

"You see, Jin and yes I do know your name. As you all say I'm a witch, succumb to the darkness and embrace your happiest memory, give me all your power."

I couldn't help but give out a slightly demented evil laugh, I grinned and at the orb shattered around me.
"Ehretia or whatever your name is,that's the thing about me, I don't have any happy memories or anything like that so if you think your little orb is gonna work on me,Your dead wrong" I continued laughing.
Ehretia stared in confusion and amazement
"How could this be, someone could actually break my orb. Jin Vega your the first person to ever be able to do this. I think I'm starting to like you,just who are you Jin. She smiled at me. 

I activated Zodiac form:Taurus,fist bumped Maracio and transformed, I readied the axe at my side.

I said "Who I am? I'm just a kid with issues doing what I want." I activated my other skill The Bulls charge and charged at her with full force and slashed at her chest but she summoned a shield around her and I grinded my axe on it to try and break it but I need more power.

"Jin, I like you so lets make a deal. You become my servant for life with your mentality intact and I let your friends go and I don't kill them and I can turn the villagers back to normal." Ehretia said pleasingly.

"....Well if you put it like that....then hell no!" I exclaimed. I concentrated and asked for the earth to grant me power but it still wasn't enough to break the shield. Maricio ghostly form appeared by my side and he rested his hand on my shoulder , I immediately felt more power but it still wasn't enough the shield was shaking a little but just a some more.

"Jin, I can kill you right now and your friends,your not gonna break through my shield so be a good boy and become my servant." Ehretia said.

Is this my only option, I don't want Luke or Jake to die but I can't give up, I will fight to the end.
"No, I will not because I made a promise to avenge the king and I don't break promises!" I shouted with all my will then suddenly a dark silhouette just like how Maricio was appeared on the other side of my shoulder and I became enveloped in an aura of lightning, my eyes glowed with static and I slashed one more time at the shield. It shattered and I slashed at her body it only damaged her dress slightly and opened a small wound on her stomach. I felt my heart sank and fear enveloped.

"I told you Jin,you can't beat me at least not now, if it wasn't for the fact that you interest me so much I would kill you right now but I must pay you back for this wound." She said happily.

She summoned a jet black scythe,destroyed my axe and slashed a deep wound diagonally across my chest and blood erupted from my chest and my vision was fading away.

"Sorry my darling but as an apology I will let you live and your little friends go and I will return the villagers back to normal, when we meet again please save m-........ please be prepare to die again if your not strong enough." She grinned and then snapped her fingers releasing Luke and Jake and then disappeared.

My consciousness faded and I awoke to a dark space, I looked around but no one was there

"Oracle, where are you?" I asked.

Maracio appeared in front of me

"No it's me,  do you have anything you wanna say?" Maracio asked

"Who in the hell is that woman, when I attacked her it felt wrong but there was so much evil flowing. Is there something wrong with me?" I asked.

"So you felt it too,something is off about her. When you become strong like her don't kill her there's something that seems familiar about her and I don't think shes all that evil. Call it a gut feeling." Maricio explained.

"Are you kidding, she sliced me open like a chicken!" I exclaimed!

"........yeah about that when you get back don't be freaked out okay."  Maricio said calmly.

"Ummm thanks I guess, later" I said.

Maricio nodded and I started to feel myself wake up. As soon as I opened my eyes, I felt a burning and stinging sensation coming from my chest. I screamed out in pain and checked my body, the wound Ehretia was gone but it left a terrible black scar across my body. Are you kidding me, this woman is bad news, I don't know what Maracio is thinking about her not being all evil.

"Don't you think that its to early in the morning to be screaming." Said a familiar voice close by. I then looked around to see where I was and I was back at Veigas's house.

"Veigas, where are Luke and Jake,what happened and how did I get here." I asked.

"Boy can you calm down, now let me explain what happened while you were in your...state. Well first off you were asleep for two weeks, I followed you when you went on your journey to test you but I didn't expect your little girlfriend to be so strong." Veigas joked.

"That psycho is not my girlfriend and if you were following me, why didn't you help me before she caused this scar!" I raged.

"Then why did she leave a kiss mark on your cheek when I found you and calm down, like I said I was testing you. Veigas said.

I blushed "Wait what?" I felt my cheek.

"I'm kidding boy.....or am I?" Veigas continued to joke.

I coughed "Moving on, What happen after?" I asked

"Luke and Jake wish you in the best of luck in your recovery and training, the village thanked you for your saving them and granted you five hundred gold coins, you should be grateful because I wasn't gonna give you any money." Veigas continued to explain.

"Your such a great master aren't you?" I sneered at him.

"I have one more errand for you before I start training and this is necessary, I will tell you more about it when you get better." Veigas added

"Are you kidding, I'm better already" I said as I began to get up off the bed but fell from the pain."

"Yeah sure and Your friend Maricio or your zodiac or whatever it is came and talked to me, he didn't wanna tell you himself but he cant fight with you for a while,Ehretia shattered his axe causing him to lose some of his power so he's recovering just like you but longer, so I suggest you get your next zodiac as soon as possible."

Maricio probably feels terrible right now, he probably wants to be alone so yeah I should try to connect  with another zodiac. Activate Mystic:Astral link and I appeared in the dark space and the same dark silhouette that helped me break Ehretia shield was in front of me.

"Umm hi, thanks for helping me out when I was fighting." I said

"You're welcome, Jin." Said a soft female voice.

"So have you approved of me using your power?" I asked.

"Yes, I have, you won me over with your spirit to keep that promise. I appreciate a kind person but your heart is still covered with grief,revenge and sadness. I want to lend you my strength and fight with you in hopes your heart will be healed." she said.

"Thank you um........." I said

"I am Alice" As she said that her silhouette disappeared and her form revealed. She had golden hair in a pony tail ,white cloudy eyes, ram horns, lightning bolt mark by her cheek and she was average in height. "I am the Zodiac known as Aries, Jin Vega I hereby lend you my strength and that we grow a strong bond. She said as she phased her hand into my chest, no not this again. She grabbed my heart and placed the power into me, I expected pain but it felt gentle and soft and there was a slight jolt at the end.

"I am done, Jin" Alice said.

"Thank you, Alice lets work together from now on." I said with a smile
