"I've got my sights set on that one." He said, pointing at Y/n from across the room. They were currently at a party.

"The CEO's daughter?" He inquired, clearly shocked at what Dennis had said.

"She's the one. She's the lucky girl I'm going to marry," Dennis confided in Søren, grinning like a mad mad as he pointed at y/n. Søren shook his head,

"But she's..." he started, but was cut off.

"The most beautiful girl in league," Dennis told him, wrapping and around his friend's shoulders as he gushed about her.

"I know but-" he tried to start again, but was once again cut off.

"That makes her the best." He confirmed, voicing his thoughts about the girl,

"And don't I deserve the best?" He declares, shaking Søren lightly. A large, over confident smile on his face.

"Well of course-" he started the way but was cut off by Dennis again.

"Right from the moment when I met her, saw her, I said 'She's gorgeous' and I fell... Here is town there's only she, who's as beautiful as me. So I'm making plans to woo and marry Y/n."

Dennis started to make his way over to Y/n, a few girls following behind him trying to get his attention.

"There more be more than this league liiife!" Y/n complained to herself, sick and tried of being around it all.

"That's why in going to make Y/n my wife!" He declared to no one but himself, as he continued trying to catch up to her.

"That Y/n.." people murmured as Dennis was finally in speaking distance.

"Hello, Y/n" he started, waving his hand in front of her face to get her attention, eventually taking her iPhone SE.

"Hello, Dennis." She said to the Dane in front of her, sighing.

"How can you read this? The print is so small" He asked, waving around the small phone.

"Some people have good eyesight." She countered, putting her hand out, "now can I have my phone back please?"

"Well it's about time you got your head outta that phone and paid attention to more important things, like me." He didn't intend for it to sound really cocky, but it did.

"Everyone's talking about it, you're always in your phone." He told her, walking around her in a circle.

"Then you're gonna start making plans, changes." He sighed, through his head up.

"Dennis, you are certainly primeval." She told him, shaking her head.Maybe Riot needed a change, maybe the NALCS needed one. She was the one who suggested going into a franchise. That's why she was always engrossed in her phone.

He shook off the insult,

"What do you say you and me take a walk?" He asked her, holding his hand out to her.

"No," she told the man in front of her, shaking her head again. Dennis was persistent in asking her out, but the answer was always no. She never gave another answer, even if she found him cute.

"I have to go," she told him, flocking to her father's side, and his friend group.

He followed her over, much to her dismay.

"Dennis... what a pleasant surprise.." She mumbled, groaning slightly.

"Isn't it though? I'm just full of surprises. You know Y/n there's not a girl here, who wouldn't love to be in your shoes." He told he, edging closer to her. She looked up at Dennis, an eyebrow raised.

"I'm not one of them." She told him, trying to back away. She wouldn't mind him if he wasn't so... so sure of himself.

"Listen, I'm sorry." Dennis started, "I get it now. Maybe I'm too over confident, but I just want one dance. Only one. Can I have that?" He asked her, towering over her. She looked up at his eyes, biting her lip. Dennis clenched his fist at the sight, getting lost in her beauty. He scanned her eyes for answer, wanting to know what she was thinking.

On the other hand, Y/n's thoughts were reeling. She didn't know what she should do. Maybe she should give him a chance? I mean, would it really hurt her to just give in this once. Maybe he wasn't as bad as she thought he was. Her eyes scanned his for bad intentions, and false pretense.

"Yes, you can have that." She told him, giving into his desires. He grinned, putting his hand out for her to take. She shook her head at his cheesy grin, grabbing his hand and letting him lead her.

A slow song started to play as the made it to the dance floor. Dennis wrapped his arms around her, his hands sitting at her waist. She wrapped her hands around his neck, looking up at him. He was cute, she admitted to herself, real cute. He had a charming smile that made her swoon, but his over confidence killed it. She was starting to figure him out though.

His over confidence was just a facade. A facade to get her to hopefully be interested in him. In reality, Dennis was a down to earth guy, with a heart of gold. Y/n was a bit dumb not to have realized it sooner, but at lest she managed to do so before it was too late.

The couple swayed side, side, turn, side. They hadn't spoken to each other yet. Dennis was just enjoying the moment, knowing that he may not get another one. He wanted to enjoy this one while it lasted, because she was prone to saying no to him. He meant well, he really did, he was just bad at showing it.

It was halfway through the song before Y/n spoke,

"You're not as bad as I thought.." she admitted to him, looking up at him. He gave a clandestine smile, casting his gaze down at her.

"I'm glad to hear that," he told her, "I thought my over confidence drove you away." She shook her head, confirming that he didn't.

"I saw through it, besides I figured I should at lest give you a chance. It couldn't hurt right??" She said to him, gauging his reaction. He had a dopey smile as he nodded. They continued to dance, the song almost over.

They swayed to the beat, as their thoughts mingled together. They neared closer, feeding off of each other with intensity. The song was almost over, which meant that their dance would soon come to a close. Did the two want to separate? Who knows? As the last few notes started to play, and the song started to end, the pair locked eyes.

They stared at each other with such intensity, such fire burning inside of them. One who wants what he can't have, and the other who is drawn in by mystery. The two collies together, in a fire like kiss. The last few notes of the song trilled away, as Y/n pulled away from her Gaston. She turned around, and began to walk away from Dennis. He reached for her, trying to pull her back to him. To no avail, she was gone with the wind, never to be seen again that night.
