"What do you want, Stefan?"

"I'm sorry. I didn't know I was going to go out. She kind of just showed up at my door and told me to get ready."

"You don't have to explain yourself to me what you're doing with your girlfriend."

"She's not my girlfriend."

"She's not?"

"If I haven't been obvious, let me clarify now. I want YOU back. Not her. We're just friends."

"You came all the way to New Orleans and didn't tell me that?!"

"We didn't really talk. It was a bit awkward and you know it. Plus I was too excited seeing Hope to think about making moves on you. But I'll be back and we can have our time together."

"Who says I want you back?"

"Your little jealous act. Passive aggressive, huh?"

"If she's not your girlfriend then who is she? Why are you spending time with her? You could've stayed back with me."

"She's my ex. The only girl I've dated since you. We were together four months. It didn't work out. We met up a little while ago just as friends. She's moving to New York in a week. And I'm helping her. Then she'll be out of my life, I'm sure."

"Then you can come be with me?"

"Baby, I want you now."

"I meant physically. In the same state."

"Be my girlfriend again."

"Are you asking?"

"I don't know, am I?"

"You better be."

"I'll ask in person, how about that?"

"Only if you're sure. I have a baby now Stef."

"I know. And she's adorable. I have enough in me to love you both."

"Really?"

"I never stopped loving you, Hails. How could I? We broke up and you slept with Klaus. I was willing to forgive you. But you ran off to New Orleans. And told me over the phone you were pregnant. You never gave me the chance to take you back. You left me."

"You never called..."

"I was trying to let you go. Klaus followed after you. I wasn't ready for all that."

"And you are now?"

"Seeing you for Sky's birthday, nearly killed me. I knew I needed you back. I've been a mess the past two years without you."

"Oh, my god... I'm sorry. I'm not crying. I just... I love you, Stefan."

"One week, baby. And I swear I'm going to make everything better. I know you need me too."

"I do. I tried to move on. I did, but I couldn't stand anyone for long periods of time."

"It's okay. We can talk about that later."

"You promise you're coming in a week?"

"I'll buy a plane ticket first thing in the morning, Hails. I just got home. I'm tired."

"And you're not drunk?"

"No, baby."

"Don't laugh. I was just checking."

"I'm going to sleep, baby. I'll FaceTime you in the morning. I want to see my baby. And I mean Hope, not you."

"Hey!"

"I want to see you too obviously. But I owe her a call."

"Don't hang up... I miss this."

"What?"

"Just your voice. And your laugh. When you were here the other day, I couldn't believe how gorgeous you were. And how much I missed you. Your smell. Your smile. Your arms... You are so good."

"I won't hang up... I missed you too."
