Our Love

Chapter 7

Today is the day that both Reed and Thorn family both leave to go to their countries. The past few days went by so fast for them and this last day together seems so glum and gloomy.

The kids didn’t want to leave each other so Daniel and Jade decided that they would still keep contact or the kids’ sake because they knew that it would never work out between them because they live on either side of the world. Daniel woke up early so he could pack all his bags ready for the flight and not want to be thinking about leaving Jade. When the Reed family was ready to leave they said their good byes to jade, Christian and Zach. When they got to the airport nobody said a word and nobody dared to penetrate the silence lurking around them. When they boarded the plane the flight attendant showed them to their first class seats at the front of the plane. They didn’t talk for the 9 and a half hours and when they got back to the sunny Gold coast they still didn’t talk at all.

They had a lot of fun in Hawaii with jade and her 2 sons and now they would probably never see them again. Once Daniel and the kids got their bags they were greeted out the front by Ben their chauffer “Welcome back Mr Reed, pleasant trip?” speaks Ben in a chirpy voice. Daniel just nods and gets into the car with his children. Once they got back to their beachside mansion they all went to their rooms and didn’t come out until dinner time. Their cook made them some spaghetti Bolognese for dinner.

They finally made small talk at the table and started getting in a good mood. One of the maids came in with the phone in her hand “Um excuse Ms Reed the phone is for you, he says his name is Christian Thorn” say the lady. Anastasia accepts the phone and gives a smile to the lady “Thankyou Marilla” and walks off to a different part of the house. “Yes I’ll try ok bye Christian” Anastasia whispers, when she gets back to the table everyone looks at her in a curious way but she doesn’t look at anyone and just goes back to eating her dinner like nothing happened. Later that night when everyone went to bed Anastasia couldn’t sleep at all so she decided to go to her father about it.

She knocked on the door and she heard a faint ‘come in’ she slowly turned the nob and poked her had into her dads room to see him sitting there reading a book in bed. “Couldn’t get to sleep either?” said Daniel. Anastasia nodded and walked to her dad’s bed and sat down “Dad I think you should go see Jade, she would be an amazing mum and I know you like her a lot and you’ve been so quiet since we got back….. We all have” speaks Anastasia in a melodramatic tone. Daniel knew deep down that he loved Jade so but being a man of money he always followed his head, not his heart. Today was the day that he decided he would do something dramatic, when he told Anastasia to stay in the house and look after the kids while he went out for a bit she was suspicious but just brushed it of as nothing. Daniel planned on not telling anyone of what he was doing and left his children in the hands of his maids while he drove the airport.

He got onto the next plane to Doncaster and was there the next day asking person if they know jade thorn. Finally someone knew her and pointed him in the right direction. He didn’t waste any time and didn’t think of bringing any clothes with him. He finally found her house and knocked on her door; Jade answered the door and was very surprised to see Daniel on her door step when he was supposed to be on the other side of the world. “What are you doing here; you’re supposed to be in Australia right now” speaks Jade “I had to see you and tell you that ever since I met you in Hawaii I have had a lot of fun and when we parted ways my life was such a torment and I can’t stand on thinking of leaving the woman I love. Because I love her and would love it if she would come live with me in Australia” Daniel gets down on one knee and speaks the words that bring a light into everyone’s life. “Jade Ivy-rose Thorn will you marry me, I know I don’t exactly have a ring but I came straight here and didn’t think of getting one at the time” says Daniel in a bright tone. Jade gasps and wraps her arm around Daniel and gives him a passionate kiss and say “Yes I will” with that Daniel picked her up and twirled her around. Christian and Zach come bounding to the front door coming into a group hug knowing that they succeeded in planning to get their family together. “Oh sweetie are you sure you want us to live with you in Australia I mean we can wait if you want” stutters Jade. Daniel just laughs and gives his new fiancé a big hug, “I want you to move in with us. The house is big enough for us all and the kids can go to the same school and everything” says Daniel excitingly. Jade and the boys pack their bags and say goodbye to their life in England and welcome Australia with open arms.
