Jasmine POV
It was the afternoon of February 13th.
Our daily show was over, and after I took off my dress and makeup, I immediately put my silver bracelet back on, the one Anthony had given me.
I gently kissed the small diamond heart, the way I did after every performance, since I wore it everyday.
The small diamond glistened in the afternoon sun.
Then I remembered what was tomorrow.
Valentine's Day!!! The day of pure terror!!!
I laughed at my thought.
Then I remembered Anthony.
Everything he had done for me. Including annoying me to my death.
So I made a last minute decision, ran out of the theater, and headed to the first store in my sight.
Sadly, I didn't watch where I was going and had a close call of running into Anthony.
Oops.
I threw my sweater over my head and ran to the opposite street, hoping he hadn't seen me.
I ran into the first store that I saw and quickly bought some paper, these fancy pens, and candy. (Don't ask)
I scanned the street for Anthony. No sign. Good.
I quickly ran back to my room, and the second I plopped my stuff on my bed and went to get a bottle of water from the basement, (underneath the stage) I rammed into Anthony.
"Jasmine!" he exclaimed. "What... what are you doing here?"
"Well, I was going to get a bottle of water, but then I rammed into you"
He blushed lightly, and said, "Oops. Sorry"
"It's okay." I replied. Then I noticed he was covering something with his coat.
"Hey, what's that?" I asked.
"Um... nothing"
I rolled my eyes. I decided to ask no further.
"If you say so..."
Then I quickly retrieved a water bottle, and on my way out, I kissed him on the cheek.
"Goodnight" I said.
"Goodnight, Jasmine" he responded, looking quite relieved, but smiling.
I skipped my way down to my room and closed my door, finally remembering to lock it.
I sat on my small desk, took a piece of paper out, and folded it.
I cut along the edges with a fancy pair of scissors. I'm weird, I know.
I decided I wanted to do Calligraphy on his name on the front of the card in blue letters.
I scrambled around for any blue art utensil I could find, and begun with the A.
It took me about two hours to finish his name, and when I did, it was 11:00 pm.
And I still had to write the inside.
yAy!!
I opened up the card and stared at the white piece of paper.
What to write?
1: This is absolutely terrifying. Why not tell him personally?
2: THAT IS THE WORST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD BEEN SUGGESTED!! ABSOLUTELY NOT!!
1: Hmph. Fine. Well, we were told we were a good writer in high school...
2: And how is that relevant?
1: Just write!!
Somehow I managed to pull together a few words and write them down.
And I had to keep juggling down my sour candies so I could stay awake.
When I finished writing, (and eating my sour candy) I was so exhausted all I did was turn off my lamp, clear out my desk a bit, and fall asleep right there, on my desk, hoping tomorrow would come any sooner.
Meanwhile Jazzy was doing her crazy shopping...
I thought about Jasmine as I tried looking for her in the theater; I had a strong desire to attack her with kisses on her forehead.
After I couldn't find her, I decided that would have to wait until tomorrow.
Valentine's Day.
I decided that I wanted to write something to her, the only problem with this whole writing thingy is that I'm a terrible writer.
I hoped she wouldn't really mind my writing.
I walked to the store closest to the theater and bought a card with a blank inside, along with 11 red roses.
I knew Jasmine wasn't with me... but I just felt her presence around me.
I scanned the streets to see if she was there, but she wasn't.
After I bought these things, just in case, I covered the roses with my coat and hoped I wouldn't bump into her somewhere in the theater.
Unfortunately, I did bump into her at the basement, where I was going to get a water bottle for the treacherous journey of writing that was ahead of me.
"Jasmine!" I exclaimed, completely taken by surprise. "What... what are you doing here?
"Well, I was going to get a bottle of water, but then I rammed into you" she said, with a cute smile.
Too late, I realized I was blushing and said, "Oops. Sorry"
"It's okay... Hey, what's that?" she asked.
I looked down and realized she was staring at the coat, that had an un-normal bump from the roses.
"Um... nothing" I responded.
She rolled her eyes and said, "If you say so.."
She took a water bottle and before leaving, she said, "Goodnight"
"Goodnight, Jasmine" I responded, smiling.
Then she kissed me on the cheek and left.
I completely forgot about the water bottle and headed back to my room to begin writing.
It was about 11:00 when I finished writing.
