WARNING HORRIFIC STUFF AHEAD
READ AT YOUR OWN RISKThe girl ran. As she ran she screamed. The roaches were biting now, causing excruciating pain to her legs. Finally she stopped. She felt the beetles sinking her down. As she sunk through their crunchy brown bodies, she stared at the sky. The moon was sickening, a bulbous eye leering at her. In fact, it was an eye. A memory flashed back to the girl. Someone handing her a tray with food on it. She looked into the person's eyes, finding pale blue pools of cruelty shining at her. The moon slipped away, along with the memory. Now the cockroaches had completely enveloped her, legs crawling over her skin. Suddenly she dropped away from the roaches, landing in a dark room. Looking up, the girl found the roaches made a living ceiling. She tried to move but found herself lying on her back, restrained by thick fabric cuffs. When did that happen? The girl asked herself. Just as she got used to the darkness, harsh light blinked on above her. She found she was in an operating room, tied to the table. A young woman in scrubs approached the table. Pulling back her mask, The girl found deep blue eyes looking at her. Not the pale blue of storms, but kind eyes. The girl was about to talk to her, but her face was now arranged in a horrific grin. She picked up a scalpel and stabbed the girl in the gut once, twice then three times before leaving the room. As soon as the blue eyed girl left, another masked surgeon came in. She pulled away her mask revealing big brown eyes that studied the girl on the operating table before picking up the bloody scalpel and giving three more lacerations. Next was a blue haired girl, followed by a tall boy and a boy with odd eyes. Each gave her three strikes with the scalpel. Finally an older woman walked in without a mask. She had silver eyes framed in wrinkles. The girl instantly knew it was someone important. The woman leaned in and whispered. "You couldn't save us. We hate you." The woman said before delivering a killing blow. The girl then found herself kneeling before a bejeweled throne. Looking up she saw a beautiful woman with long shiny black hair and almost white blue eyes. Lightning pulsed beneath her fair skin "Remember this next time you try to oppose me child." The girl gritted her teeth. "Ingrid." The woman laughed. "Not quite Carrie Penelope Lockwood. See you soon. By the way ask James about Evangeline for me...."
The mention of that name stirred something in the girl. The nightmare faded to darkness.HOLY CRAP THIS CHAPTER WAS HEAVY! It's always hard to write awful things about my beloved characters. But alas, the nightmare realm needed to be introduced as hell for people.......
