The rest of the day flew by and before I knew it, it was my turn to take the stage. I took a deep breath mentally telling myself I’ll be fine. I looked up seeing Kellin and Jenna standing back there. I felt my nerves sky-rocket. I felt a connection again as he looked at me. I smiled slightly walking on stage.
I started singing and went through our set list smoothly.
I screamed in the mic “Thank you! We are Hello Harmony! Good night!”
Everyone cheered and I felt some much better. People loved us. I made my way back stage feeling better.
Jenna walked over “Okay, you’re amazing.”
I smiled “Why thank you.”
Kellin walked over “Yes, you are amazing.”
He stuck his hand out “I’m Kellin.”
I nodded, smiling and taking his hand “I know. I’m Lacey.”
My heart started racing and I felt sick to my stomach as I shook his hand. Something sparked between us that I couldn’t figure out.
He quickly pulled his hand away making me wonder if he felt it too.
He smiled slightly “Well I have to head back to my bus. It was nice meeting you Lacey. Good job.”
He winked before turning around and leaving.
I turned to Jenna smiling like an idiot “Did you see that! He winked at me!”
She chuckled rolling her eyes “Now the weird obsession is forming.”
I shook my head “He’s basically my idol. I’ve listened to his music for years. His band has helped me through some tough situations. I admire him.”
Jenna nodded “Okay that’s not too bad then. I guess you can fan-girl then.”
I smiled “Thank you.”
