The two days flew by and before I knew it I was on a bus strumming my guitar trying to calm my nerves. We were sharing a bus with Tonight Alive. Jenna and I seemed to hit it off instantly. I even fan-girled a little when I found out we were sharing a bus with them.

We finished rehearsal early so we had the day to mentally prepare. We didn’t perform until 4pm on the Tilly’s stage and I could feel my nerves sky rocketing.

Jenna walk over “Yo Lace. Wanna go watch Sleeping With Sirens perform?”

I looked at my watching noting it was 11am.

I nodded “Sure give me a minute.”

I slipped on my black motorcycle boots as I quickly ran my hands threw my curly hair. Inside I was freaking out knowing how close I would actually be to Sleeping With Sirens.

I walked to the main stage with Jenna excited about seeing Sleeping With Sirens live.

Jenna handed me a pass “So if you decide to go check things out.”

I smiled putting it on “Thanks.”

I got ready to go toward the front of the stage to watch in the crowd but Jenna grabbed my arm.

She chuckled “Where are you going?”

I turned towards her genuinely confused “Going to watch the concert?”

She shook her head “We can go backstage.”

I giggled “Seriously?!”

I felt excitement fill me up. I never got to experience backstage and it was just as thrilling as people make it out to be.

I watch workers run around me but I wasn’t focused on that. I was focused on the fact that a few feet in front of me stood Kellin Quinn. I was mentally freaking out seeing him. I felt a connection as he glanced over in my direction causing me to freak out more. I tried to claim myself down before I freaked out like a crazy fan.

Jenna turned to me smiling “You okay?”

I smiled widely “I’m great! I can’t believe I’m this close to Kellin freaking Quinn!”

She chuckled “Oh my gosh. You are so adorable. I remember when I first met people. I freaked out like that too.”

I blushed slightly watching Kellin as he got ready to take the stage. He looked slightly in my direction again smiling before turning back to the stage ready to walk on it.

Jenna nudged me “I sense a weird obsession forming.”

I giggled “Nah. Just admiring a great artist. He’s married anyway.”

She nodded “True. Well let’s enjoy the show.”
