Come with me...

Friends

The next morning Link was playing video games and his phone started to go off like crazy. Who could be calling? Why were they even calling? Thoughts like these ran through his head.
    He picked up the phone and read the number, no one he knew but some thing inside him said to answer anyway.
   "Hello?" Link said a little confused.
    "Hi Link, finally I got the right number!" Link recognized this as Zelda's voice.
   "Z-Zelda!?" Link said astonished.
   "Yes it's me Link!" Zelda giggled.
   A million thoughts when through Link's mind. How did she get my number? Why is she calling me? Was she mad at him? "So... Why the 9 o'clock call?"
  "I wanted to say thanks for coming over and I hope we can hang out more. Maybe I can come over to your house at say 1:00?" Zelda had a hint of hope in her voice.
This request tool Link by surprise. "Um... Sure." He said after a short pause.
   "Great! I can't wait!"

1 o'clock rolled around rather quickly. Link chose to quit playing his games and made Zelda a little treat of macaroni and cheese, because it was all he could think of.
   There was a gentle knock on his door. Zelda was there, he ran to the door and slowly opened it. There she was her blond hair tied in two pigtails, her sea blue eyes watery form the chilly fall air, her checks and the tips of her pointy ears had the slightest pink hue. Link felt his face take the same hue as hers.
    "Come in Zelda you look cold." Link said  feeling a little cold himself.
   "Thank you Link you're such a nice guy and a great friend!" Zelda said as she stepped in to the warm house. "Thanks for letting me come over on such short notice Link, I hope I didn't bother you."
   "Is fine Zelda, I was just playing super smash bros. on my Wii U, no big deal."
   Zelda's eyes lit up, "You have a Wii U?! Can we play smash together? Please Link, please!"
   "Fine but first you should eat, you walked here, right?"
   "OK, we can eat and then we play."
   "Of course."
They sat at the dining room table and Link gave Zelda a bowl of Mac and cheese. It was very creamy and very, very good.
   When the two finished the small meal they went upstairs to Link's room.
   "So, what do you want to play first? Oh, wait you wanted to play smash! Unless you changed  your mind?" Link said smiling and pointing at a the stack of  Wii U games.
   "Let's just play smash, okay?" Zelda said with a whine.
   "OK, OK. Whatever you want princess."
    Zelda had a light blush on her face." What did you just call me!?"
   "Princess." Link smirked.
   "I'm so not a princess!"
   "You are a dissident of the princess of Hyrule, aren't you?"
  "Well yes, but don't call that!"
  "Fine, I won't call you 'princess', princess." Link said teasingly and stuck his tongue out at Zelda.
   They played various video games over the couple of hours Zelda was there. Suddenly her phone started to ring. There was a picture of Midna on the screen.
   Zelda quickly picked up her phone and answered it. "Hey, what's up Mid?"
  "Oh I was just wondering where you where, you said you were going to come over." Midna said confused.
   Zelda gasped, " Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry I completely forgot! I'll be right over I'm at Link's place now. See you soon Midna. " After that Zelda hung up and said goodbye to Link.
  "Link, can we hang out again sometime soon? Ya know as the friends we are?" Zelda asked Link kindly.
   "Sure! How 'bout Din Park tomorrow at 12:30?"
   "Sounds fun! See you then!" Before Zelda left she gave Link a nice warm hug.
   Link stood and watched Zelda walk down the street and before she was out of earshot he shouted, "Goodbye Zelda! See you tomorrow!"
    She responded with a wave. Link went back in side, although it was vary cold outside Links heart was warmer than the summer that had past. Tomorrow is going to be a great day, I just know it.
