A/N: I don't even have an excuse hahaha. It's just that there's so many things I want to change... You know what? When I'm done, expect a re-write of the original book. I'm gonna keep powering through! I owe it to you guys the most, especially the ones who have been here since the beginning. If I were the legal drinking age, trust me I'd be doing it right now. Anyway, I hope you guys like it. :)

"So you guys really don't remember anything about my sister?" I asked. Xander and the wolves shook their heads.

"For some reason, I had completely forgotten that you had another sister," Xander said. I chewed my lip thoughtfully as the dye set in my hair. If hair dye reeked when I was human, you best believe the smell was killing me now.

"Alright... well obviously we can't just go in there all at the same time because it'll scare her off. I'm operating off the basis that she's human--"

"Wait, why would she be human?" Garrett asked.

"Well, I was human."

"Yeah, but you died before and were reincarnated as a human. Like, you were dead dead," Luke added.

"Tranquility's been around a long time, maybe your sister has also survived as a vampire this long," Alex said.

"Well fine, let's assume she's a vampire. I'm still only bringing a small group with me, just in case. We don't want to scare her off and we have the element of surprise so she'll be more likely to accept." Even I didn't believe the words coming out of my mouth. Would I accept a huge responsibility like that, if I were in her position? Well I've gotten this far so... no.

Xander crossed his arms over his chest.

"You're doing all this under the assumption that she's peaceful. Don't you remember what happened with Tranquility--"

"I remember exactly what happened with Tranquility," I snapped. Xander shot me a look, but his gaze softened. I cracked the knuckles of my left hand.

"All I'm saying is we need to be prepared for every possible outcome."

"I don't like this. It feels like we're gearing up for war," Steven said, nervously running a hand through his hair.

I sighed. I was settled in a chair, clutching tightly at my bathrobe, waiting for Naomi and Vee to return with clothes. I sent them both a shopping run in the hopes to distract myself from everything piling up at once. That and I was tired of walking around in the same clothes all the time.

"I'm gonna go rinse this crap out of my hair, and maybe when I come back I'll have a better solution."

With that, I stood and walked into the bathroom, removed my hair from the black shower cap, and turned on the water, letting the cool jets from the showerhead rinse my now fully red hair. The more I rinsed my hair, the more the color mingled with the water, resembling blood. I looked at my hand. It looked like it was also covered in blood. I was once again reminded of how I couldn't hold any blood down at all during my time of deep sickness. I was starting to feel better though, oddly enough.

When I was done I wrapped my hair in a towel, knowing full well the fluffy white towel was going to stain after this, and tried to wash my hands clean of the dye. After a few unsuccessful attempts, I unwrapped my hair from the towel and began blow drying it. Then I heard the door open and knew that Naomi and Vee were back.

"I'm in here!" I yelled over the noise. The duo entered the spacious bathroom and settled their shopping bags down.

"Thanks you guys, I really needed this, I'll pay you back asap."
