Chapter 8

Aiden called me asking me if I wanted to hang out and I of course said yes. I've been hanging out a lot with him so much recently that he and F/N might be competing for the 'Best Friend' place.

I got dressed and told F/N where I was going. She just sighed and said okay.

I walked out the door and met Aiden in the middle of the hallway. "Oh, hey! I was just heading over to your place!" I told him, "And I was just heading over to your place to take you to my place!" He responded just as quickly.

We walked to his place and started talking.

"So, you wanna watch a movie, play boardgames, just talk? It's up to you" He had told me when we walked in.

"MOVIE!!!" I yelled/giggled. He just laughed, "Okay then, what movie?"

"Do you have Home Alone?"

"Yes I do! I actually bought it yesterday. It's my favourite!" He said, "Its one of my favourites too! Okay stahp talking and put the movie in already!" I giggled with excitement.

He put the movie in and started it, then got the popcorn and some bowls.

Aidens POV

After the movie was over, Y/N decided that she wanted to have a Home Alone  (or another movie if you don't like it) movie marathon, so we did.

In the middle of Home Alone: The Holiday Heist, I noticed that Y/N fell asleep. It was now 7:24 P.M.

To be honest, I've always had a little crush on her since grade 2 but never said anything about it. Every week I would always tell myself that I was going to get over her in a week. That was until college.

During college, I pushed her to the back of my head trying to forget about her and focus more on my studies. That worked until now. It's been several months since we reunited and became friends.

Now it's just harder to keep my crushing a secret.

I have to tell someone that I like her. Phil? No. Dan? Ehh. F/N? Maybe I should tell F/N. I mean, she's her best friend and my sister so she should know and hopefully keep it a secret.

Y/N's been hanging around Phil a lot and they treat eachother as they're a really close brother and sister. Yes, sometimes I do get jealous of Phil but I can't do anything about it. I don't want to be the bad guy and hurt him, I don't want to kidnap Y/N and make her go out with me.

First, I want to know if Phil likes her. Then maybe see how she feels.

I don't want to date one of my friends' crush. That would be just plain out wrong and disrespectful.

I guess I'll wait a couple of days to tell someone.

Your POV

I wake up on Aidens couch. The movie marathon was over and I hear some rumbling in the kitchen.

"Aiden?" I ask, seeing if it's him that's making all the racket.

"Hey, you're finally awake! Do you know how late it is?"

I check my phone and it's 9 o'clock. Dang! On my screen I have 23 notifications and they are all text messages from Dan, F/N, and Phil. They must be so worried!
