Prompt: "As he chased her through the field of flowers and noticed a bag fall from her pocket. He stopped to pick it up, there was a large gust of wind. He raised his head up and she was no longer there."

We were at her house, it was like any other summer ordinary summer day. Slightly boring, hot as hell, and very humid.

Since Sara didn't have air conditioning so we had to suffice with a fan on high rotating around the room with ice cream in our hands.

The tv was on and some movie was playing but I wasn't exactly paying attention. I was looking outside into the field behind her house. Daydreaming if you may give it a name about so many things.

Going to college is a big one is having just graduated from high school it's a big change and I don't know if I'm ready for that yet.

But I have to do this for me, for my family at least I will have my girl by my side every step of the way.

With big blue eyes, light brown almost dirty blonde hair, skin so soft it would put silk to shame.

I always wonder how it is possible to have managed to snag this beauty. I stare at her looking at her features, memorizing them.

Stunning absolutely stunning. that is what she is and that is what she always will be stunning.

my attention shifts from one thing to another I feel a poke in my cheek. I glance over at Sara and raise an eyebrow "Yes?" I question her.

She giggles, "You're not paying attention to the movie anymore, whats wrong Alec?" She gives me a dis-concerning look.

I sigh, as the air leaves my lungs my head clears a little, "I'm just thinking baby" I motion for her to come closer to me, and she did.

Sara snuggled right up to me and look at me with her big doe like eyes.

I could feel a bunch of questions about to come onto me, mentally preparing myself "What?" I ask knowing the answer I was going to get.

She smiles at me and shakes her head, "I can't look at you?" she pokes me in the side.

I twitch away from her but shake my head "Of course you can look at me baby, but I can see the questions running through your eyes my love. So out with them, what is it?"

She looks at me for a little bit longer "What were you thinking about?" she questions.

Smiling at her cuteness I had begun to think what exactly I was thinking about. Shrugging my shoulders I look down at her and stroke her hair. "Just everything but nothing at all if that makes any sense." she nods quickly showing me she understands but stays quite wanting me to continue on with this topic.

"I was thinking how it feels to be a graduate of high school going into college, as well as the changes that have been made but also the ones that are coming up too. It's hard," I pause to think about the words that will come next. "And scary," I say quieter than before. Lowering my head feeling self-conscious about how I felt.

Her soft and sweet smelling hands came under my chin to lift my head up and turning it slightly so I was looking at her. "You have nothing to be ashamed about baby, it's completely normal to feel what you feel. It gets easier and even if all of your thoughts aren't answered they are still slightly settled once you start college.

Life does get and it gets scary but it doesn't mean by any means that you are alone, because you aren't."Not knowing what to say I pulled her closer to me and hugged her tight, her scent was calming to me and I soon relaxed, I don't know how long we were sitting on that couch holding each other whispering sweet nothings to each other.

When we finally pulled apart I looked out the window as the sun was setting, an idea popped into my head. I started to pull away from Sara, but only pausing when she looks at me questioningly. "Let's go for a walk." I motion my head out toward the window. A perfect night to go for a walk.

I guide her toward the door and we put on our shoes, I grab my phone so I can take photo's but Sara leaves hers. After finishing tying our shoes I open the door, it was still quite warm outside but you could feel the coldness in the wind. As the night neared so did the chill, the sun was just starting to set so it was still light outside. But the setting sun was prominent in the sky, oranges and pinks were over taking the light blue sky.

I take a quick picture of the breath taking sky. Grabbing Sara's hand and lead her in the direction of behind her house to the field so we can walk through the tallish grass and wild flowers. With my phone out taking as many pictures as I can while this moment lasts. Slowly I walk in front of Sara taking many pictures as I do, she notices me taking photos of her.

"What in the world do you think you are doing?" she says amused.

I shrug my shoulders, taking another picture cheekily, "Taking photos of something breath taking." I kiss her cheek.

Running in front of me to go further into the field, something falls out of her pocket as I'm taking pictures. I jog to retrieve it so I can give it back to her, the wind picks up and almost knocks me onto my side. Worried about Sara falling I stand back up and hurry over to where I had last seen her.

I can see where she was standing, her feet have imprinted into the grass on the ground, but as I look around she is nowhere to be seen. "Sara?" I call out, "Come on this isn't funny, where are you, babe?" Calling out again but slightly scared.

"Where are you?" I yell louder. Spinning around in circles trying to look in all directions.

Hours after the sun had set I kept looking, even as I could feel the cold trying to invade my body I kept calling, kept looking not stopping. By the time that the sun was starting to come up I was in the middle of nowhere.

I was cold, lost and alone. I didn't know what to do. I didn't have any signal so I couldn't call anyone or look up where I was on google maps. "Sara! Please!" I croaked out my throat hurting from all the yelling that I have been doing.

Slumping against a tree because I losing my balance from the spinning of my brain.  Fog started to roll in, I shook my head to try and clear my vision. I couldn't tell anymore what was actually happening, what was real and what wasn't because I could feel the warm air around me but when I look at everything looked so cold and dead the sun does even reach this far into the woods.

I whimpered as I slide down the tree curling into a ball on the ground. Ground that should be wet from dew but isn't. My body is still warm, I start to panic. My breaths become more and more frantic.

I try to move again but cannot. I am stuck unable to do anything, my movement stopped her breathing stopped, and my eyes are glued open as I watch the scene around me change from the dark, ominous forest to a room filled with a soft light that can only come from candles.

As my senses started to come back to me first sight, then smell, lastly hearing. I had begun to remember where I was. The home just off of the side of the town, a walk not too far but one most wouldn't take because they don't want to deal with this kind of trade.

"What did you see?" I ask "What is going to happen." I look up at the Astryil, still laying on the hard bed beneath me. I shift onto my elbows my head spinning slightly from the movement, my arm goes to hold my head. Movements slower than they normally are I think to myself.

"I am to simply show you what I have seen, it is not up to me to come to a conclusion of what could happen, the vision was meant for you and it is up to you to decide what it means." She speaks but her mouth does not move, her tongue taken out long ago, part of the ritual that they have to go through to become an Astryil.
