Validation via Ear Piercings

I'm pretty sure this applies to a lot of people but my mom will not allow me to get any body modifications in addition to my original ear hole piercings because she feels like it will show how "loose" I am. Like ???There's literally no correlation?? Then when I say how she always say "Back in my day boys thought blah blah blah". Like umm I want these for myself. I don't care what some immature dude thinks about my piercings. I literally hate that the women in my family are brainwashed to think they have to live for these men like be yaself for yourself. They think everything you do has to be for the validation of a man like no. I'll validate my own existence and judge my own appearance because it's (get this) my body.
