The room had tilted so much to one side, and then to the other, throwing Dan and Phil to the other side of the room. Meanwhile, the Doctor held on tight to the large structure in the middle of the room, a sort of console. He fervently searched for various buttons and switches on the console to try and handle the chaos and stop the Tardis. The Tardis was in flight; it had locked everyone in and went on a course of its very own. As the Tardis kept shaking back and forth, Dan and Phil bounced around the inside like ping pong balls being shaken in a closed jar, unable to find a sturdy place to hold on before the next turbulent turn shook them. Finally, after about a minute of this, the Tardis calmed down and stopped shaking. Dan and Phil didn't seem to be improved by this experience however; they finally landed in a corner, with birds seemingly flying around their heads."Sorry for that, guys. The Tardis does that sometimes. Well, a lot actually. She likes to go places where she thinks I need to go."
"Umm, its no... problem," Phil tried to say as he rubbed his head and his back from the various bruises he got from being thrown multiple times across the room.
Dan did the same, but soon became mute, and just looked everywhere in awe as he tried to comprehend where he was, how this could exist, how the heck had he even gotten here in the first place.
"So..... what was so important... that your Tardis had to shake us until our brains become pudding?", Phil asked, still rubbing his sore head.
"I don't know, actually. The Tardis loves to give us surprises. We just have to go outside and see".
The Doctor marched over to the door, and pulled it wide open. He stepped out of the blue box and disappeared into the outside, while Dan and Phil looked at each other with agreeing looks of worry and anxiety. It was too dangerous to go outside to some unknown place, who knows what could be out there, Dan thought. Phil looked to be thinking the same thing, but after a few moments deliberation with his own thoughts, he carefully walked to the door and looked out. Dan was about to call Phil to stop, but instead followed him to make sure he wouldn't get hurt. They stepped out of the Tardis, and saw a bright yellow sky with blue-green fields of long, flowing grasses. It was a scene unlike anything they had ever seen; there were huge futuristic buildings with shiny silver spires and collections of pods stuck on the outside layers. There were 3 suns orbiting around the planet, each a unique shade of brilliant green/yellow. Dan and Phil stood in amazement, when a few moments later the Doctor came back and pulled them by their arms.
"Come on then! No use standing around here."
They walked through a path that was carved into the grasses to reveal a yellow sandy trail. After a few minutes of walking, they arrived at the group of buildings, where there was a large plaza with grey tiled sidewalks and streets. A moment later, a pudgy, marshmallow like creature waddled its way towards them, and plopped at Phil's feet. He forgot where he was and instinctively picked up the creature.
"Awwwhh my gosh its so cute! Look how cute it is Dan!" Phil cheered with a bright and joyful smile.
"Umm, what is it? Why does it look so weird?"
"Dan! That's mean to say. Its probably some kind of marshmallow creature, its so squishy and tubby."
"Now who's being mean? You're fat shaming the little guy." Dan looked at Phil with a disapproving but teasing smirk.
"No no, you're right. This creature is called an Adipose, which is an actual biological term, which means fatty tissue. This being is basically a bundle of fat," the Doctor explained.
Dan and Phil looked at the Doctor with shock and surprise, respectively. A creature made up entirely of fat? That couldn't exist, could it?
"Wait, do you mean it just has a lot of fat in it, but it still has like a skeleton, muscles, and organs?"
"Nope. All fat. Though now you mention it, when the Adipose are being made, they can in times of crisis dissolve and convert the bones, muscle, and other tissues of other living beings into fat, which is what they're made of."
Dan looked paler than before, almost about to faint.
"In fact, a while ago I dealt with the Adipose, and they were causing a lot of trouble because they were, effectively, killing people by converting all their tissues into fat and into new born Adipose," the Doctor remarked with sad nostalgia.
Phil looked very shocked too, and stared in disbelief at the poofy and adorable little Adipose that lay in his arms.
"Yes, and it was in that misfortunate little incident that you cost me my sister's life," a strange female voice said from behind them.
