"So have you heard from you're parents recently?" I ask Mon-el while snuggling my head underneath his chin.

"Nope. They are just orbiting Earth waiting for me." He says in a frustrated tone.

I look up at him. "Don't worry, they're going to leave soon enough."

Suddenly, my phone starting ringing. I grab it while still staying next to Mon-el.

"We need you, both of you, at the DEO. Now." Alex says in a worriedly voice.

--------------------------------------------

When we arrive, everyone was huddled around a computer screen.

"What's going on?" I ask.

"The Daxamites. They have multiplied into hundreds of different ships." J'onn says. "Every building in the city is targeted."

I look up at Mon-el. His fists started clenching up. But most of all, his face looked so worried and afraid.

There was something that made him shut down when we talked about Daxamites. I placed my hand on his arm and gently kissed his forehead. Mon-el did a slight smile but it quickly turned back.

"I have an idea to stop them." Kal says flying into the DEO main entrance. My mouth dropped open and I ran to hug him.

"What are you doing here, Kal?" I ask my little cousin.

"Thought you might need some help with the invading Daxamites." He says looking at Mon-el. "You must be the one who is dating my cousin."

"Yes, sir. Mon-el of Daxam. But...the good guys not the killing Daxamites." He trails off.

Kal gave him a meaningful nod and then continued talking. "Dakam Ore. That's how you get rid of them."

I hadn't heard that since I was still on Krypton. My parents used to tell me stories about invaders. The kings and queens, or whoever ruled them, picked someone to be their representative to fight. If the invaders lost they would relinquish themselves and vise versa.

"Let me get in communication with Rhea." I say while rubbing my thumbs together.

"Ok you're on." Winn says without looking away from his computer.

"Queen Rhea of Daxam, I challenge you to Dakam Ore before the gods." I say "If I win, this invasion ends now. May the fate of the people rest in the fate of my hands." And then the screen went black.

I turned the corner into the training room. Mon-el quickly followed behind. "No. You can not do this." He says strictly.

"It's the only way to get rid of your mother." I say in defense.

"But if you lose, you will have to watch her trample the Earth killing everyone in her path."

"If I win she leaves." He gives out a frustrated sigh.

I wrap my arms around his stomach. His eyes were filled with anger. His muscles were tense.

"Hey, it's going to be okay. I'm going to win." I say while kissing his cheek.

There was only one thing that was going through my head.

Dakam Ore.
