Chapter 8: A New Home

Penny:

We got off the plane smiling I didn't know that I've been resting on Talon's shoulder ever since the plane trip. I tied my hair and followed Talon happily. I still felt a little sleepy.

"So, where are we going?" Talon asked carelessly. I hesitated for a second.

"We are going to go to our new apartment!" I replied smiling.

After leaving the airport,

(I honestly don't know how they passed security while holding bunnies in their bag XD)

We got our key card and unlocked our door. It actually looked pretty nice. There was one bed with two pillows, a door leading to the bathroom, a table with three chairs, a small table, and that's about it.

I looked to the left side of me and saw cordless phone. I looked at the bedside table and i saw a menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I heard Talon groan falling on the bed. I raised one eyebrow.

"What? I'm just really tired," Talon laughed.

I fell purposely next to him.

"Well, I'm tired also," I smiled closing my eyes.

"Hey, don't you just wonder?" I looked up at the ceiling.

WWait a secons... are they touching hands??? And are the bunnies kissing?!

"Wonder what?" He asked.

"Nothing, just wonder," I smiled.

"Well, I wonder about a gorgeous girl with blonde hair and a cute smile," he slowly said.

"Hey, are you being sarcastic," I laughed.

"If It was why would I be saying it right now?" He smirked.

"Soo that was a compliment?"
"Well Yeah,"

I could hug him right now but I'm too tired to move.

Wow Penny

I started to close my eyes... Then I fell into a deep sleep...

I woke up to the sound of someone calling my name.

Talon:

I kept saying her name, shaking her shoulder, but she wasn't waking up.

I was about to get up but-

"I'm up!" Penny giggled while tackling me.

"Penny?" I laughed.

"Yeah?" She smiled.

"Where are the bunnies?" I smiled.

I looked to the right of the bed.

At first I was like awww.

"Ahh!" I screamed. Penny rushed towards me.

"AHHHhH!" She screamed after me.

"Awwwwwwww Teeny is a mum," Penny smiled.

"Aww you look so cute when you say awww," I replied sarcastically.

"Aww thank you," she smiled.

"Aww you're welcome," I smiled.

"I'm gonna go get some food-"
"Me too!" I smiled.

We hung the "do not disturb" sign on the door handle and left the apartment.

I heard a beeping sound come from Penny's Codex.
I kept walking, but Penny pulled my arm, running back.

"Come on Talon, we have to save HQ! Penny screamed.
"Wait, what's happening?!" I yelled.

"Your uncle put a bomb in HQ! He's planning to blow it up!" She yells in my face.

"Come on, there's a secret passage here," Penny hesitated in front of a trash can.

We went in, and we came out in front of some kind of flower shop.

"Penny, it's too dangerous here, we might blow up with it!" I pulled her arm.
"No!" She yelled.

After a while of arguing, we heard a rumbling noise come from the bottom of our feet.

The ground started to break. We saw what was left of HQ.

"No no no no no," Penny screamed.

"Ohh this is all your fault!" She yelled in my face.
"Me?" I started to yell.

"If you hadn't stopped me, we could've stopped the bomb!"  A tear streamed down to her cheek.

We started to argue for a few minutes.

"I HATE YOU TALON!" Penny screamed.

I backed away from her.

"Well fine, if you p-put it that way," tears streamed down to my cheeks.

Penny REALLY started to cry.

"I never wanna talk to you," she said walking away.

I walked away also.
