Chapter 9: I'm Sorry

Penny:

I looked back and saw that he was gone. I regretted what I said to him. More tears streamed down my face. I sat on a rock and looked at my reflection in the water. I started throwing rocks into the water.

I saw another reflection come into my view.

"Penny," Talon hesitated.

I let out a deep sigh.

"I'm-"
"Sorry," I continued his sentence.

He sat down next to me.

"I know you're mad at me," he sighed.

"Do you want to know the whole story?" I replied in a frustrated way.
"Yes," he sighed again.

"When I was three, my mom and dad died because of a disease. Ever since, I was taken care of my uncle and the whole HQ. I actually felt safe there. Now, heh, I only have you left," I smiled while I shed a tear.

I let out a big hug.

"So, you only have me left?" Talon smiled.

"It's pretty nice having you here, to be honest," I laughed.

"Now, how do we get home?" I put one finger to my chin.

"Come on Penny!" Talon smiled while floating a few inches above the ground.

Oh yeah, rocket boots.

I hopped on.

He started going faster and faster.

"TALON SLOW DOWN!" I groaned.

"Sorry," he smiled while slowing down.

JEEZ TALON

We flew to some secret passage. Of course we went in it. And duh it went back to where we came from.

I closed my eyes. I did feel tired after all that talking.

Talon:

Did I mention that the ride was kinda fast?

"Penny?" I shook myself.

Errrr.

I knew she was sleeping... ....  .

I put her on the bed the moment we came home.

The next chapter will be pretty intense ;-;
