I let out a deep breath and started to tell them what has been going on these past 2 years with Nathaniel and Charles.
“Nathaniel was made out to be my mate by Charles. Nathaniel has been beating me since I was 17 and hasn’t stopped. I found out a few days ago that Charles and Nathaniel were behind this big scheme of giving me to the vampires because they wanted a young pure female wolf. They had lied to me about Nathaniel being my mate and I found my true mate today. Charles will be coming home soon and he will find out what has happened. I don’t wish for any of you to get hurt like I have been hurt. You can leave if you want to, I don’t blame you if you all want to leave.”
Just then one of the older males stepped forward along with his wife.
“We would like to stay here with you and stand by your side. You took down Nathaniel and we will forever be in your respect.”
His wife spoke up next.
“My dear child, I don’t think you realized what you have done but you are an Alpha now. You took down an Alpha and that makes you the Alpha of the pack now. I think you make a great Alpha and I will forever serve beside you.”
I turned and looked at Lucas.
“Lucas is that true about me being the Alpha?”
“Yes Addie it sure is true. You were destined to be an Alpha from the time you were born just as I was destined to be your mate and stand by your side.”
“So this is the lucky many who is my daughter’s mate?”
We both turned and saw my mother standing there looking at us. I looked just like her. She hadn’t changed much from when she left us. Standing next to her was a man and an older girl and two younger kids.
“Mom is that you?”
“Oh Addie! What did they do to you?”
I didn’t answer my mom and just ran and hugged her. It felt like forever since I last hugged her and talked to her. I started crying and I didn’t care that everyone was there. I started to feel really dizzy and started seeing images in my head. It has been happening for a very long time. I felt Lucas’s arm wrap around me.
“Whoa! Addie you okay?”
“Yeah I just got dizzy and started seeing images.”
I looked up and saw the girl who looked just like me look really pale too. She stepped forward and stuck her hand out. I don’t know why I did it but I stuck mine out and put it up next to hers. Memories flashed through my head. Me being born, to another baby laid next to me, then nothing. The other baby was gone.
“Annie?” I whispered.
I looked up at Annie and I saw a tear fall down her face. I pulled her into a hug and didn’t want to let go.
“Wait Annie?”
I turned to Lucas and had to laugh. I can’t believe he didn’t remember either but maybe it was my dad who did this so we didn’t remember.
“Lucas I’m a twin. Annie is my twin and Charlesmust have erased my memories.”
“Mommy who is that girl who looks just like Annie?”
I turned to the little boy that was pulling my mom’s shirt.
“Adam that is your big sister Adelaide.”
He ran over to me and wrapped his arms around my leg and looked up at me and smiled.
“Yay! I got another big sister. I’m the luckiest boy in the world now.”
“Honey, I want you to meet….”
I stopped my mom before she could say anymore and hugged my father. I felt him tense up at first then wrapped his arms around me and rested his chin on top of my head. I pulled away and looked up at him and smiled.
“I knew that man all along wasn’t my father. A daughter knows who her father is and there is no mistaking that. Especially when she has the pink mark on her chest as her father.”
“Oh Adelaide I’m sorry I left when you were a baby. I couldn’t risk you, Annie and your mom getting hurt. I had to take Annie away with me so nothing would happen. I’m so sorry.”
“Daddy It’s okay. Everything happens for a reason. There is a plan for everything. I’m just glad we are all together now.”
“Well, well, well. What do we have here?”
We all turned and looked at Charles standing there looking at us. I stepped forward in front of everyone.
“Hello Charles! Nice of you to join us for this lovely meeting.”
“Where is Nathaniel?”
I stepped aside and showed him Nathaniel’s dead body on the ground. I saw my dad’s eyes fill with anger.
“Who killed him?”
“I did Charles! I’m not the weak girl you both thought I was. I am stronger then you both thought. I am an Alpha!”
“You are nothing but a weak girl who is nothing to anyone.”
“She’s my mate.” Lucas said stepping by me.
“She has a mate that’s it. That is nothing but baggage to me. One by one people started stepping up beside me saying what I was to them.
“She is our daughter.”
“She is my friend.”
“She is my Alpha.” This was the whole pack standing behind me.
“She is our sister!”
Charles eyes got wide when he saw Annie, Adam and the other little girl that came with my parents.
“Charles I would suggest you leave before I hesitate to kill you. I banish you from this pack and I banish you from this land. If you ever step one foot on to this property I won’t hesitate to kill you.”
He looked right at me and grinned.
“This isn’t over. I will be back for you and your sister. Mark my words this isn’t the end of this.”
He took off running for the woods and the group fell silence.
