Imagine: comforting Pagan when he's thinking about the past

• although you and Pagan are a couple for several years, Pagan sometimes can't prevent himself to think about his past and the people he lost

• it doesn't happen very often but you already know the signs; he's not as buoyant as he should be: he doesn't talk very much, he's absent, deep in thoughts and he's definitely keeping his distance to you

• his detachment isn't intended but his memories are rodent, causing him to revoke from your side and making his touches and kisses hesitant

• sometimes, when it's early in the morning, you'd find his side of your bed empty, mostly because Pagan doesn't sleep at all

• you'd find him either on the balcony, leaning at the railing and starring into nothing, or at his bar with a glass of whisky in front him

• you'd quietly creeping up on him, looping your arms around his waist and pressing your face into his back

• Pagan wouldn't be scared; he'd know by now that you'd always come to him and would stay with him, unconcerned about daytime or the ruling silence between you; he'd be grateful about it

• you know by now everything about his past; about Ishwari, Lakshmana and Mohan; he had told you many months ago, in a night filled with alcohol and coke where he had a massive breakdown and cried in your arms

• this night had changed everything; it bound you in a way that you would've never imagine; it showed you why Pagan became what he's today; and it made him completely stop with drugs and his excessive use of alcohol

• you helped him getting back on his feet and you'd help him every time when he threatens to go back to his low

• you both would stay in silent for minutes until his body'd relax against you; his hand'd reach for yours, stroking and kissing the back of it; a mumbled "Thank you" would escape his lips, his voice husky but nonetheless relieved and thankful

• you'd smile, kissing his temple "Always"

• the rest of the day you'd spend in bed, cuddling and watching movies and ignoring the fact that Pagan actual has to fulfill his royal duties
