"Whoa. Who the hell is this chick?" a man's voice spoke.

Jessica slowly opened her eyes to be met by a group of people.

"She's terran," a green lady spoke.

"Full or half like Quill?" a racoon asked.

"Full, but she reeks of power herself," a man with red lines on his skin spoke.

"I am Groot."

"What the...?" Jessica trailed off. "Where am I? Who are you all?"

"Right around the outside of Terra on our ship. We are the Guardians of the Galaxy. I'm Rocket," the racoon stated.

"Gamora," the green lady nodded.

"Drax the Destroyer," the man with lines on his skin spoke.

"I am Groot," the tree smiled.

"Peter Quill," the only normal looking person waved. "And you are?"

"Jessica Atkinson. How did I get here?" she questioned.

"We don't know you were just beamed up here," the racoon shrugged.

"I need to get back to Earth," she stood up and looked out one of the windows.

"Earth? What is this Earth you speak of?" Drax asked.

"Earth is another name for Terra," Peter spoke up.

She looked out and saw Earth in the distance.

"Wait a minute," Rocket walked towards her.

He sniffed the air around Jessica.

"You have powers right?" he furrowed his furry eyebrows together.

"I did, before they were taken from me," Jessica sighed.

"Groot, she could keep it safe," Rocket looked over at Groot.

"I am Groot."

"Wait what is she keeping safe?" Peter looked confused.

Rocket started to dig through the several compartments in the ship, looking for something.

"What am I keeping safe?" Jessica repeated as she cocked her head to the side in confusion.

"Found it!" Rocket yelled.

He brought out a small purple crystal on the end of a chain.

"It's a piece of the Power stone that we have, in case someone tries to destroy a planet," Rocket smirked.

"Wait, she's full Terran, can't it kill her?" Peter realized. "And how did you get that in the first place?"

"I stole it. Didn't think the Nova Corp should have all the power," Rocket answered. "There's something special about her, she can handle it. Gamora, you put it on her."

"Why me?" Gamora asked.

"Because I don't want her blood on my hands," Rocket retorted.

Gamora grabbed the chain and held it in her hands.

"Okay, I'm going to put this on you and then we'll send you back to Terra," Gamora bent down to be eye level with her. "We will also be close by to make sure you don't destroy the planet. Make sure it doesn't touch the ground."

She slid the necklace over her head, and Jessica immediately felt a surge of power and pain. She screamed as her veins glowed a purple color. Gamora then stroked through her hair and it calmed her. She felt the pain die down as she slowly closed her eyes. She felt a hand rub her back.

"It's alright, you'll be fine," Peter rubbed circles in her back. "We're going to send you back home now."

She felt everyone back away from her and her head started spinning.

She felt grass touching her skin. She slowly cracked her eyes open to be on the lawn of the compound. She heard yells from inside. She slowly stood, but felt slightly nauseous. She leaned on a tree and drunkenly made her way to the Compound. She opened the door and stumbled into the living area. She was met with her family, plus Ella and Taylor and minus Drew, yelling at The Avengers, while Peter Parker sat uncomfortably in the corner with Drew as they tried to sign the conversation.

"How could you let my daughter get beamed up and we have no clue where she is?!" Jade yelled.

"Relax, Vision has powers based on the Mind Stone which means she was beamed wherever he was thinking about. Vis, where were you thinking about?" Tony asked.

Vision simply pointed to the sky.

"Oh, great, so she dropped out of the sky and died," Taylor threw his hands in the air in frustration.

"Not necessarily. I was thinking of space," Vision interrupted.

"So she's dying of lack of oxygen in space!" Ella screamed.

"Écouter! Maybe Stark can think of something," Diego stepped between the two arguing groups.

Natasha's eyes then met Jessica's.

"Or she found her way back here," Natasha spoke up.

Their attention turned to Jessica.

"Thank goodness!" Jade smiled as she hugged her daughter, but Jessica soon pushed her away remembering what Peter Quill had said. "Honey, what's wrong?"

She quickly darted out of the room not wanting to have to explain to her family that she met people in space and now had something that could destroy a whole planet, they'd probably get her another therapist, and she didn't like the therapy side of Rachel on the Raft, she liked that she was kind to Jessica.

She tucked the stone under her shirt, not even wanting to look at it. She ran into her room, slammed the door, face planted on her bed, and sobbed into her pillow. Her door softly opened and closed a few minutes later. She felt her bed dip next to her on her bed, as if someone laid down next to her. She felt a two strong arms hug her. She brought he face up to be met by Peter's caring brown eyes.

"Hey," he smiled to try to make her happy, but it didn't work.

"Hey," she sniffled.

"What's wrong?" he asked softly as he took his arms off of her.

She sat up with Peter shortly after. She pulled out the purple stone from underneath her shirt and showed it to him.

"What is that?" he reached for it, but she quickly grabbed his hand.

"It's an piece of an infinity stone. The Power Stone to be exact. These people have it to me, to keep it safe and away from people who know how to use it, and as a bonus it also gives me powers. I ran because I didn't want them to think I was crazy and send me to a therapist," she cried.

He wrapped his arm around her.

"It's alright. We'll get through this. It's all going to be alright," he put his chin on top of her head as he returned to hugging her.
