Asking The Big Question

Today was May 20th 2013 we had 2 days of school left which meant that the finals were tomorrow. I was walking to my locker when I ran into my friend Tyler. He was one of my best friends. "hey Ty, what's up" "nothing really, would you like to hang out maybe sometime this weekend?" he replied. "I'm not sure if I'll be able to its my step-dad ya know." "ya.. Well let me know if you would like to." "will do." with that he walked off. Unlocking my locker I grabbed my skateboard and books. When I walked outside I noticed my step-dad Scotts car. I went in the other direction trying to avoid him. Pulling my s4 out of my pocket I put on been to hell by Hollywood Undead. I jumped on my board and headed for the café on main Street. I always liked to go there and study I always got more done there them at home because I could focus. I also thought it was the best care in London though. When I got to main street my phone started ringing. It was Scott, 'ugh why can't he just leave me alone' I thought to my self. I answered with a "what do you want". He replied with "you better watch your mouth young ladie or you'll get it tonight" "oh I'm so scared" with that I hung up. Before I could walk through the door of the café I heard my name being called "Alexa!" I turned around to see my boyfriend Slade. "hey babe" he said when he reached me. "hey, want to get a drink with me?" "sure." he said then pecked me on the lips. I hit him softly."ouch " he pouted playfully. I grabbed his hand and we walked in. I ordered a caramel frape and he order the same. "so how was your day today?" I asked him as we got our drinks. "it was good, how about yours?" "it s good so far is gonna go down hill as soon as I get home if my mom's gone" taking a sip of my drink we walked over to a table and sat down. "I'll go home with you if you want" "no its ok I'll be fine." we sat there for a little bit then his phone rang. "hey I've got to go see you tomorrow at school?" "ya of course it's finals remember." "Right.." we got up hugged and said our good byes. I finished my drink then started on my way home. When I got home my mom was gone so that left me with my step dad, I cracked the front door open to see Scott sitting watching TV with a beer in his hand 'great tonight's going to hurt'. I walked in hoping that he didn't notice but with my luck he always noticed me. He got up and I made a dash for my room. "hey sweetcheeks" he said as he grabbed my arm. I quietly cried out in pain. "your mother won't be home till tomorrow morning so tonight we get to have assume fun" he said having his evil smirk on his face. He was probably the worst fit my mom could have picked to marry after she left my dad. Scott was an abusive child molester, he always abused me and raped me when my mother was out in business trips. Tonight just happened to be one of the nights. (I'm going to skip this part because you all probably know what happens next)

* 2 hours later*

I woke I always hated the site that came the next morning of Scott laying next to me after about an hour of what anyways happens I usually pass out and this is the site I see the following morning. Getting up being descusted I grab my clothes and go to my bathroom to get ready for school. Usually I was out of the house by the time Scott woke up. I jumped in the shower, dried off, get dressed then went downstairs to eat breakfast. 'it good thing I studied yesterday' I said to myself. I ate when I was done I put my bowl in the sink grabbed my bag than headed to school. I thought about asking my mom today if I could go live with my dad because I couldn't stand living with mostly my steel dad and wanted to go live with my real dad. The school day went by quick, I had finished my finals and got to go home early today. I went to my locker and grabbed every thing I had in our which was barely anything. Better to take it home today then tomorrow. Starting to walk home I got a text from my Mom.

From:mom

To:Alexa

Would you like a ride home from school.

To:mom

Sure, after you pick me up can we go to the café I need to ask you something, I'm still at the school.

From :mom

Sure, Ok I'm almost there.

As I got that text I saw her car turn around the corner. Thankfully she was alone. "hey mom" "hey, how are the finals?" she's asked. "they were good, I think i did good on them." I replied. We arrived at the café. I got out if the car walked in got my regular paid and got a table. My mom was not far behind me, she paid for her drink then joined me at the table.

"so what do you need to ask me?"she asked

"I want to go live with dad, it's time I come clean about Scott... He's not the man you think he is, when ever your home he abuses me and rapes me. I just can't stand it any more."

"when was the last time you talked to your dad?"

"it was my last visit before you married Scott, so 2 years ago."

I'm not sure how often I will get to update the story I'll try to update often but with school and track I'm not sure.

It's not much at the moment but I'm currently working on the next chapter
