Last Day Of School, Meeting Up With Dad

After I messaged my dad I walked downstairs and grabbed something to eat then went back upstairs to go to sleep.

I woke up the next morning at 5:30 I got up made my bed grabbed my clothes took a shower went to go eat something ran back upstairs brushed my teeth and put deodorant on. Today was the last day of school and today I would be meeting my dad at a restaurant for dinner. After I was ready I headed back down stairs walked outside and headed to school. When I got there everyone was all over the place. Signing year books and getting phone numbers so they could hang over the summer. I spotted Slade and speed walked over to him. "hey Slade" "hey Alexa" "I need to talk to you." I told him. "about?" "I might be going to live with my dad and if he says yes I don't think I'll be able to do a long distance relationship." "so your breaking up with me?" "I don't know yet, it's complicated I'll let you know what my dad says and I'll let you know tonight." after I told him that he just walked off to talk to his friends. I knew it wasn't the best time to tell him but I would have had to tell him sometime. I looked around and found Tyler. Walking over to him I realized that I had gotten a text.

Everybody was still out and some random girl came over to me and asked me to sign her yearbook. So i signed it then looked around for Tyler spotting him I ran over to him. " hey Ty, guess what" I told him excited. "what? Your moving!?" "ya actually I might be, how did you know?" "I didn't are you serious?" "ya, I might be moving to the states with my dad." "OMG really I read somewhere last night that he was suppose to be joining the walking dead." "OMG really! Dude that's our favorite show maybe I'll be able to meet them!" "ya, that would be cool I'm gonna be so jelly if you get to meet them." "oh and who knows maybe I could get an acting job down where he lives and start my acting career down there, since I don't have any movies or shows going on here." "that would be awesome, hey got to go my mom's here." "k bye." that's when I noticed that it had been an hour since I texted my dad. I grabbed my bag and looked around for a white camaro. Then I saw it my dads. I was glad though because my dad just happened to park right where the sidewalk up to the school meets the sidewalk going around the school. I walked down the sidewalk gladly though not many of the people that went to my school knew that I was the daughter of David Morrissey I don't think they ever put the to last names together. But it just happened that a lot of my classmates were around my dads car. I got to the car and was trying to decide on how to get in, I started to push my way to the passenger side door I knocked on the Window and my dad looked up smiled and unlocked the door. That's when someone grabbed my arm. It was one of the popular girls who just happened to be wearing a shirt with David on it. "why are you getting in his car I'm sure he would much rather have me in his car then you." she said in a snotty way. "ya I bet to differ" "ya and whys that?" "because I'm his daughter." with that I grabbed her arm and squeezed until she let go. "now leave all of you" I got in and buckled up. "sorry about that dad." "it's ok you handled it fine, so where to?" "my house to get changed then to dinner" I told him. "ok" when we arrived I asked him "are you coming inside?" "sure" we both got out of the car I walked over to him and looked at him. "your taller then the last time I saw you." I said. "yeah, so are you." he replied. I grabbed his hand and pulled him along. "mom should be home" "ok" I unlocked the door and walked in not letting go of my father's hand. "Alexa.. Who's this?" Scott asked. "David?" my mom said surprised. "Hannah." my dad replied. "you look great. You've gotten a lot taller.." mom said. "ha I said that also mom." Scott cleared his throat. "again who is this?" "oh Scott right, this is David my ex also Alexas father." "oh, nice to meet you David." he said walking up to my father and shaking hands. "nice to meet you to Scott." my dad shook his hand after he shook Scotts hand he grabbed my hand reassuring me that everything was ok. "hey I'm going to go get ready ok dad" I told my dad. "ok sweetheart" he replied. I walked up the stairs and went to my closet. I decided on a blue and white dress that was tight. With black high heels, I went into my bathroom and I side braided my hair. I grabbed my phone and headed down the stairs. "ok dad I'm ready" "ok, it was nice talking to you again Hannah" "you to David." I walked up to my dad and grabbed his hand. "come on let's go" I told him. We walked outside and went to the car. "so where are we going?" my dad asked. "I was thinking olive garden, what do you think?" I asked him. "that sounds good" he replied. We got there in twenty we went in and got a table for 2. "so what did you want to ask me about?" my father asked. "I was wanting to know if I could come live with you in the states." I told him. He gave me a surprised look. "your serious?"he asked." Yes, I'm serious." "yeah, I would love that. I have to tell you something though."he told me. "ok what is it?" "I adopted a boy two years ago after your last visit because you always said you would like a little brother so I adopted one." he informed me. "really! How old is he?" "he is 6 now and he been really excited to meet you."

The waiter came over and took our orders. "I will take a root beer and a chicken Alfredo." I told her. "I will take a lemonade and a chicken Alfredo also." my father told her. She walked off and a few minutes later we had our drinks. "so dad when do I need to have everything packed?" "well I leave this weekend so you have till Sunday so 2 days." "ok, I'll pack my stuff tonight would it be ok if I came and stayed with you at your hotel until we leave then when you leave we can go to my house say bye and leave?" "yeah that's fine with me." the waiter brought us out our food and we started eating, it was really good. When we finished we paid and dad dropped me off at my house. "I'll let you know when I'm ready tomorrow." "okay, love you." "love you to dad." I walked up to my house and unlocked the door. "mom! I'm home" "ok sweetheart I'm in here."she yelled from the kitchen. "so what did you dad say?" "he said yes! He leaves Sundays so I have to then, I was wondering if I could go stay with him in his hotel tomorrow till we leave then when we're ready he can drive me over here to say bye to you." I told her. "Yes that is fine. You better go start packing if your going to stay with him tomorrow." "ok, thank you mom." I went to go start packing.

*Hannahs P.O.V.*

Alexa had just told me that she would be leaving tomorrow sometime I told her to go start packing.

"she going to go live with her dad that's why he's here?" Scott asked.

"Yes, she is going to go live with her dad it was her choice."

"she can't go, I don't agree both parents have to agree and I don't."

"your not her legal parent your just her step dad."

We kept fighting.

I texted Slade

*hey my dad said yes. So I'm going to go live with him in the states. *

*that's awesome but what about us? Do you want to try for a long distance relationship? *

*I'll try it but I can't promise anything. Do you want to hang out sometime tomorrow? *

After I told Slade the news I finished packing and went to sleep.
