Zane awoke to instead of Garroth knocking loudly on the door, he was lightly patting his back "Hey Zane" He said as he sat up rubbing his eyes. Garroth was smiling widely in a chipper mood. "You ready to go to the lake, we are leaving in an hour and a half, I also made pancakes!" Garroth chirped. Zane sighed and let out a small chuckle seeing Garroth so happy, "Alright, I'll be down in a minute." He responded. Garroth nodded and walked out.
Zane finished getting dressed and walked downstairs. Garroth was at the table humming. Zane walked over and grabbed a plate sitting at the table. "You're exited this morning, but in a different way. Why are you being so calm about it?" Zane asked. Garroth looked up "I'm just exited about spending time with you and I don't want to annoy you." Garroth said. Zane sighed he even though Garroth's exited personality did get on his nerves it bothered him that Garroth was trying so hard to make him happy. He felt like he didn't deserve it for all he's done. "T-Thanks Garroth." He said. Garroth smiled and nodded.
"You ready?" Garroth asked getting up off the couch. Zane just nodded and followed him to the car. They got in and Garroth started the car. The ride was mostly filled with them making small talk and jamming to music. They arrived at the lake and decided to sit on a hill for a while before swimming. About a half an hour of chilling and talking later Garroth stood up.
"You ready to swim now?" He asked. Zane sighed and nodded, Garroth helped him up and they walked over to the dock which was about an 8 foot drop. Zane hesitated and stepped back "Maybe not that's pretty far!" Zane said a bit scared. "Oh come on it's not that far just come here." Garroth stated. Zane protested and took another step back. "It's alright come on!" Garroth pleaded. Zane growled and shook his head 'No'. Garroth sighed and dragged Zane to the edge.
Zane struggled but his brother was stronger. Garroth was just trying to have some fun, he dragged his brother to the edge and shoved him off. Zane fell but his foot got caught on the dock and his head slammed into one of the pillars making a sickening noise. Zane then fell to the water sinking. Garroth's eyes widened and he gasped "OH GOD!" He dived into the water. As water surrounded him he could see Zane's limp body slowly floating down and blood floated around his head. Garroth swam down as quick as possible. He grabbed Zane and swam up to the surface gasping for air.
Garroth managed to drag Zane to shore and called 911

911: 911 Whats your emergency? A woman's voice answered.
Garroth: M-My brother his bleeding he fell and hit his head hes bleeding we are at the west side of Salah Lake! Please send help quick!
911: Okay, An ambulance is on the way can you tell me if he's still breathing?
Garroth: Yes but it's very shallow.
911: Okay, Stay with him and help will arrive shortly
Garroth: Alright.

Garroth held Zane close crying over his unconscious body until the ambulance came. People rushed put with medical equipment and lifted him onto a stretcher. They rushed around him and put and put him in the ambulance. Garroth quickly followed behind the ambulance in his car.
