Happy birthday

Dylan's prov.

Well it's Friday and Storm went on a run with Isaac real quick. Me and her are okay now. She accepted my apology. I couldn't help it, it just slipped out. And if it was my choice I would hide her away frLom the world, safe. But she doesn't want to be. I shake it off.

Me,Thalia,Ryan and Astrid are decorating her room, since it's her birthday. We even made her a cupcake since a full cake wasn't in question. We all got her presents and put it on the bed. We sat and waited for her to arrive.

So far it was just me,Thalia, Ryan and Astrid and we are just sitting around and waiting. Then my walkie talkie goes off.
"We're coming up Dylan" he said
"Ok Roger that" I said and I told everyone to get ready.

After about 7 minutes the door opens and everyone jumps out and shouts
"Surprise!" And Storm smiled.

Everyone went back to talking and everything. After everyone congratulates her I walk up to her and hand her a drink.
"Thanks" she said and took a sip
"No problem birthday girl" I nudged her
"Yeah yeah, don't call me birthday girl"
"Why not?" I asked
"Just don't" she laughed and nudged me
"Okay, okay. Hey Um later can I talk to you when we're alone?" I asked thinking about what I'm going to tell her later
"Sure? You okay?" She asked me
"Yeah I'm fine I just need to talk to you"
"Okay after the party is done."she said and I nodded

She looked at me and smirked
"What?" I said and started laughing
"Let's get this party started" she said
"Hell yes" I said and we clink of glasses together.

Storms prov.

It was fun but I was tired from the run but it was also cute that everyone did this for me. I had a cupcake and we were moving onto presents.

We all moved to the bed and everyone sat while holding their drinks in their hands. I noticed how Isaac and Thalia sat close to each other. Astrid and Ryan were pretty close too. It's cute but I don't think I would be able to do it. I don't know why I just feel uncertain of myself in relationships.

"Open mine first!" Ryan shouted as he handed me a colorful wrapped present
"Okay okay," I said and I opened it and I wanted to burst out laughing. It was a spanner with 'our one and only mechanic'
Written in black permanent marker.
Everyone laughed and I ended up laughing too.

"My turn!" Astrid said and handed me a small box. I opened it and I smiled. It was a bracelet that had warrior written on it. I looked at her and she smiled.

"Sister from another mother coming through" Thalia said and handed me a square sized box. I opened it and looked at her. It was a lightning bolt with 'Storm' written on it and I have her a hug.

"Excuse me she saved the best for last!" Dylan said pushing them away playfully and he handed me a rectangular box. I opened it and gasped. It was a golden locket with the words.
'I will forever love you' and I smiled and just then and Idea came to me.

"Everyone stand over there!" I said and they looked at me confused "I'm taking a photo!" They smiled. I set the camera on a timer and I stood in the middle while Dylan and Thalia were at my sides. Isaac was next to Thalia and Ryan stood with Dylan.

We didn't know how long the timer was so we were laughing and when the picture was taken and It was a perfect photo.
After that I put it in the locket while everyone started dancing.

I sat on my bed and tried to put on my necklace but it kept coming lose.
"Let me do it" Dylan laughed at me and took over. He put the necklace on and laid in the bed. I followed him.

He looked at me and started laughing because I made a funny face.
"Happy birthday Storm" he said
"We'll thank you for throwing it" I said and laughed.
"Anything for you" he said and I realise I wouldn't be able to live with out him.
"I have an idea" I said and grabbed the camera.
"No!I'm hideous!" He said covering his face making a joke.
"Please?" I pouted and he looked at me
"What are you, six years old?" He said
"Physically I'm nineteen but mentally I'm 6"  I laughed
"Fine! I can't resist that face" he said and I laughed.

I smiled and put far from us and I made a funny face and he copied me.
"Macaroni and?" I said
"Cheese" he said and I took the picture.
I waited for it to come out and I shook it, perfect.

Dylan's prov.

She yawned and her eyes were barely open, but she kept them open.
"It's OK, sleep" I said and covered her with a blanket
"But you wanted to talk to me" she yawned again,  I'll do it one day.
"It's ok" I said "I'll tell you later"
""You sure?" She said and I laughed
"Yes now sleep I'll get everyone out of here" I said.
"Okay" she said and closed her eyes.

Wow she looks beautiful

Is all that came into my head. I shook my head and I pushed everyone put of the room and they went home. I went back to Storms house and started cleaning. I didn't want her to do it, I threw the part so I have to clean it.

I was just throwing some plastic cups the others used when I heard a whimper.
I look back at Storm and see her blanket on the floor. I walk over to the side of the bed and pick up the blanket putting it a back on her.

"Please stop" she whispered and I knew what she was dreaming about. About those people that hurt her... raped her. I felt sick to my stomach. How could anyone do that to her, she never deserved to go through that.

I sat next to her on the edge of the bed and watched her. Her hands twitched, her head moved back and forth and her legs were kicking. Tears streaked down her face.

She woke up and turned and cried into her pillow.
"It's okay I'm here, I'm here" I said and she looked at me and hugged me.
"It was horrible" she whispered
"I know, it's okay now" I said and kissed her temple. She pulled away and looked at me "go back to sleep it's late" I said and I stood up. I was about to walk but she grabbed my hand. Tears still streaked down her cheeks.

"Please don't leave" she said and I looked down at her. She moved up and tossed open the blankets. I smiled and I got into the bed after taking of my shoes.
I laid on my back and was covering us with the blankets. She moved closer to me but she looked small, she was curled up into a small ball.

I laid on my side and put and arm around her waist and pulled her closer toward my chest. She turned around and looked at me. I kept my arms around her as she looked up at me.
"I want to sleep but I don't want to have another nightmare" she said
"It's okay, if you wake up I will be here." I said
"What was it you were going to tell me?" She asked
"I'll tell you tomorrow, sleep your tired" I said and kissed her for head.  I felt like a huge idiot but it seemed to sooth her.
"Okay, goodnight Dylan" she said and dozed off in my arms and I didn't want to let go.

I never wanted to let go
