I thought it was done but dear God I'm only getting started okay the fact that there's apparently not enough people of color in Cassandra Clare's books do you know why do you know why people say that? Because half the characters are f****** related! Half of the characters in her books and almost all of her books half of the characters are white family and then other characters who are typically the main characters come in and that's not good enough for those people does that make me a bad person because I don't have many people of color characters in my story my story with three people where two of them are white sisters I have a character of color in it that's to be expressed later (giant spoiler).
Anyways she writes in places where the the people in those cities, while diverse in race, are still mostly white, Los Angeles, Brooklyn and London in 18 something I don't f****** remember it's late 1800s but still she included an Asian character in her cast of seven, seven, characters including the villain one character who dies it's ridiculous I can't even express how ridiculous okay so I keep ranting and my microphone keeps turning off so yeah I went on long story short the rest of this rant was mostly about how book story she wrote New York there were about five characters I can think of off the top of my head who will racially diverse I can think of a million and a half LGBT characters in her stories but that's never mentioned unless someone says too many because okay so the story that she wrote in Los Angeles base in Los Angeles there was a giant family and there were that many characters at least four or five characters one of them one of them okay so my microphone keeps f****** my microphone keeps f****** cutting out and it's f****** annoying but basically the gist of it was you guys red Lunar Chronicles right think of a non-white character lunar doesn't count besides winter Arc I can you think of one now but if she ever get s*** for that no I don't get it it's just so infuriating why does some others get son of s*** because they're successful because everyone's jealous and them know it's because he's a f****** TV show or some Meyer never get s*** for not having LGBT characters in her story Marissa Mayer never get s*** for the way she treats characters in her story Marissa Mayer never gets s*** 4 levana being the villain old she's she's a womans only straight white men are allowed to be I am done ranting for the day and my microphone keeps cutting out!!!
