I woke up in the nurses office. My head hurt. I really wish that would stop. Second time today.

"So you're up," the nurse said when she walked in.

"Uh, yeah. How long have I been out?"

"About two hours. You feeling okay?"

"Yeah, I'm okay. Can I have some water?" She nodded and handed me a small cup. I thanked her, drank it, and crushed it, tossing it into the trash can.

"Fourth peeiod is almost over. Do you think you should get going?"

"I'm actually supposed to be leaving." I picked up my stuff, which I assume Jen brought for me, and she gave me a pass, sending me on my way.

While walking, I was starting to remember what had happened on the battlefield just moments ago. Well, at least it felt like moments. It had been two in real life, but in there it barely felt like anything, an hour at max. I was going to miss my Language Arts and History college course if I didn't hurry up.

I quickly dialed my house keeper, Stella, who thankfully was at the house and would be here in about fifteen minutes. I waited at the curb impatiently, looking down the street every few minutes. I almost jumped in front of her Volvo I was so happy to see her.

After I hopped in, she put the car in reverse and sped off back towards the house. She didn't even have time to stop. I jumped out and ran to the door that was unlocked, thank God, tossed off my shoes,  and ran up the stairs to my pink and purple room. I tossed my binder on the floor and opened my laptop as fast as I could, turned it on, yelling at it to hurry up, and logged on to the college course website. I was ten minutes late. Damn. Rushed for effing nothing.

After my Language Arts class was over, I had about a half an hour until my history course started. I decided to kill time by eating and watching TV.

I walked down the stairs, hulk stomping the ground like a damn idiot and walked over to our like INDUSTRIAL SIZED FRIDGE. I'm not kidding, this thing is humongo. If someone robbed our house they'd think King Kong lived here. But no, only a very quiet and casual family of four. We just happen to have a refrigerator large enough to fit the whole freshman class in.

"Oh my goose, there's nothing to eat. I might as well starve into a pewney little speck of dust because mother and father have failed to fill the fridge, with food, that doesn't have to be cooked or warmed up," I yelled to myself while I ducked around the fridge, hoping I'd find something and hopefully before I died.

"Oh my goose, an apple! Nickster ain't starvin' tonight!" I slammed the fridge door and dug around the drawer for the apple corer.

"Hell, do we even have one? Ah ha, we do!" I picked it up mischievously, eyeballing it for a second, and snuck back to the counter where my apple was.

"Let's do this!" I sliced the apple and it fell apart onto the counter like a dead person.

"Ha ha!" Grabbing a plate, I tossed the slices onto it and then threw open a pantry door to find my beautiful bottle of Tajin.

"Oh my goose, its more gorgeous than an alligator getting its wings." I snatched it out and sprinkled its loveliness all over my apple slices, smiling madly. Oh, the things I do when I'm alone.
