Secrets -Courtivia-

Chapter 2

Courtney's POV
"Hey Mari can I talk to you in private?"
Courtney asked feeling uneasy.
"Sure, I'm always here to listen" Mari replied
They went into Mari's room and shut the door leaving Olivia alone in the living room.
"So what's up Court?"
"Well I uh I need to get something off my chest"
"Okay then go for it, you know I'm not one to judge" Mari said.
"I know you won't judge me, it's just I'm having a hard time coming to terms with my thoughts" Courtney said.
Mari gave Courtney a worried expression and sat her down out of fear she was going to pass out.
"Mari I- I think I'm in love wi - with uh"
"It's okay Courtney I'm here for you"
"I'm in love with Olivia!" Courtney bursted out.
Mari gave her a surprised look and started laughing. She then pulled Courtney into a hug and said "I know".

Olivia's POV

After about ten minutes Mari and Courtney finally come out of the room. I wonder why Courtney couldn't talk to me about her issue considering that I'm her best friend. Were  they talking about me?

Throughout the rest of the night Courtney would whisper to Mari and give her an anxious look. Olivia could tell that Mari was reassuring her about something.
*Mari's phone rings*
"Hello? Oh hey Joven what's up?"
"What calm down, okay I'll be there in a couple of minutes"
"What's wrong?" Olivia and Courtney asked in unison, thy both looked concerned.
Mari laughed and said "Joven cut his hand on a piece of glass and needs me to take him to the ER. He called Lasercorn but he just laughed and hung up"
All three girls laughed and Mari bid the other two goodbye. Leaving Courtney to face Olivia alone.
After about five minutes of watching tv Olivia grabbed the remote and muted the volume.
"What were you and Mari talking about" she asked Courtney
Courtney looked uneasy and just said "ya know.. stuff"
"What kind of stuff?" Olivia said scooting closer to Courtney
Courtney had butterflies in her stomach and tried to avoid the question but evidently couldn't.
"Liv you're my best friend you know I already tell you everything"
"So you'll tell me??" Olivia asked sounding like an excited child which Courtney found cute.
"I'll tell you eventually, tonight just isn't the right time okay?"
Olivia agreed and they went to bed.
