          I decided to take a walk downtown since I won't be going to the shop. At least it wasn't a week, or I would've been screwed. I decided to go with my older cousin Jake, Jasmine and Jason's older brother. "I always come home late..I really don't see why I got in trouble this time. Did something bad happen?" I felt his gaze falter on me as I asked.

         "Yeah..Financial problems. Nothing more," he lied. 

    "Y/n!" I go up to the barista to get my drink. As I sit down with my cousin I get a text from an unknown number.

Unknown:

Hey! Sorry I didn't text you yesterday, I was busy.

Me:

I'm sorry, do I know you?

Unknown:

Its me, Daniel!

Me:

Oh! Sorry, I didn't know it was you

Changed name to Dani

Dani changed name to Princess

Princess:

Wow, love the name

Dani:

Anytime, Princess. Hey, Aren't you supposed to be at the Piano shop?

I see you rn, you're at Starbucks.

    I shot my head up and looked around. "Y/n, what is it? What's wrong?" Jake gave me a worried look, as if I was being paranoid. When I looked across the other room I saw Daniel with his friends. As I looked at him he sent me a wink, making me blush back.

Dani:

Come over! It'd be nice to hang w you outside of the shop.

Princess:

Can't, with my cousin rn. He's hella overprotective....

Dani:

Ah, want to meet at the water fountain nearby?

Princess:

Sure, time?

Dani:

Will in 20 minutes do?

Princess:

I'll try. No promises. I might have to bring Jake

Dani:

Jake who?

Princess:

Jake l/n, my cousin

Dani:

Oh I know him. I'm sure he'd be cool.

He helped produce one of our music videos.

Princess:

I'm coming over rn, I really don't care what Jake thinks.

    "I'll be going to a few friends I made here. They're just across the shop so don't worry about me." He looks up at me in suspicion.

       "Who? I didn't see any of your friends when we arrived here."

        "I just met them, now if you could excuse I me." I get up from my seat with my drink as I walk over to Daniel.

    "Princess!" Daniel screams, causing the other four boys to look over.

       "Oh Y/n! Daniel talks about you a lot. I thought he was lying when he spoke how he skipped rehearsals just to see you" Corbyn blurts out. I laugh at Daniel's red face and glare to Corbyn, seeing how embarrassed he was. 

          "At least I don't talk about Christina's daily makeup routine over Chipotle." I laugh in response to Daniel's comeback. Suddenly, I see a certain cousin come over, with fury burning in his eyes. "Jake! I didn't know you coming over here." I feel a cold sweat trickle down my neck as Jake started talking.

         "I went with my dear y/n! See, she and I are in fact on a date." I see the boys eyes open in shock. In that moment I truly felt my blood boil.

          "Jake! We're cousins, what are you talking about?" I turned back to the guys and apologized about Jake. "Jake's just overreacting. I'm terribly sorry." I heard a small 'hey!' From Jake as I told them. I turn back to Jake about to ask him if I could hang out with the guys, but then I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist.

           "I thought you were actually dating him, princess," He whispered in my ear. I felt my face heat up just from the feel of his touch.

           "Daniel, hands off of y/n. That's my cousin you're messing with."

At that moment I knew, he screwed up.
