         I stood in between Daniel and Jake with the tension made from the boys and my cousin. "Text me" Daniel stated before letting me go. 

"Wait I-" was all I let out before being dragged out and onto the street. "What the hell?" I asked, annoyed. 

         "I can't let you be near them. They're bad, news. Trust me. I know them much more than you." I bite my cheek since it was true. I've known them for about two days and already is being called princess by one.

           "I'm sorry" I muttered. I was never someone that argued with their family member for I was simply too weak. I walked with him back home listening to his lecture about staying away from the boys, my friends. 

           "You're never seeing them. Again." I felt my heart shatter from those five words. I entered the house and went straight to my bedroom. I crawled onto my bed and closed my eyes to take it all in. My cousin banned me from seeing probably the nicest guys I've ever met in L.A. I then heard my phone go off.

Dani

You and Jake suddenly left

You ok?

Please respond

Are we gonna meet up at the fountain still?

Princess

I'm fine

Just a little tired

And I can't meet up

Dani

Get your rest princess.

         I deleted the recent texts so Jake and Aunt Chel won't see Friday. I then hear the door open to reveal Jake with concern glossed on his face. "Who would you be texting this late at night?" I roll my eyes, disappointed he didn't come over to say sorry, but to ask about who I'm texting.

         "A friend back home," I respond, putting away my phone. He nods and goes up to me.

    "I know I was being a jerk today. I'm just protecting you from Aunt Chel" he says, apologizing. He kisses my forehead as if I was his younger sister and leaves the room, leaving me alone. The lights outside seemed to flicker as a thought popped into my head.

How am I gonna keep Daniel and the boys a secret from Aunt Chel?
