"Wait what?" I was then guided over to the piano by the others. "Woah woah woah I don't know how to play any piano songs by you guys. What's the point of playing if it's not related to you?"
"It doesn't have to, your piano playing is amazing. Just pick your favorite one. Slow or fast, doesn't matter. Either way it'll be great." I smiled from Jonah's encouraging words. They went off stage as I prepped myself to play my favorite song on piano. It made me feel like when I was in the piano shop instead of feeling the anxiety inside of me. I started playing, my fingers shaking, my heart beating to the rhythm of the song.
When I finished playing the audience stayed silent. At first I felt like I messed up or they didn't know what I played until I looked behind me.
There stood Daniel with the boys behind him holding a sign saying 'Will you be my girlfriend?'
"I planned this with Jake after you went back to Illinois. I helped him find the complex, I bought the plane ticket for you without letting you know. I asked you so I could have a chance to do this for you. I was afraid you'd say no to be with your family," He announced, chuckling. I felt tears brim my eyes as he kept speaking, "Y/n, Princess, will you be mine?" He asked.
"Hell Yes!" I ran up to him as he dropped the sign to catch me. For once I didn't care what others would think with my lips on his. I heard a few squeals and a bunch of 'awwes' from the audience.
"No matter what happens...I'll always love you.
