Chapter 05

I tossed and turned, annoyed from the fact I couldn't fall asleep. 

Princess

I can't sleep, you up?

I'm sorry if I disturbed you.

     A few minutes later, I felt my phone buzz.

Dani

Princess, why up so late?

Princess

Idk, too many things on my mind

Dani

Well, would you mind if you told Mr. Seavey some of them?

Princess

Well, there's this one thing. But Idk if I should tell you.

Dani

If it's keeping you up, I'd be willing to listen.

Princess

Well, Jake won't let me see you guys. He says you're "bad news"

Dani

Well, if I am bad news, might as well play my role.

Will you be willing to go to the town fair tonight? Its open 24/7 and it would be fun sneaking out w you

          Suddenly, my cousins words went through my head. "I'm just protecting you from Aunt Chel." I frowned, knowing if i did this something was bound to happen.

Princess

I'd love to. Meet you at the entrance in 30 minutes

Dani

Can't wait

          I snuck around my room getting ready. I called for an Uber and tiptoed into the freezing air. I later arrived to the festival to immediately spot Daniel. "Why hello there Mr. Seavey." I gave him a small wave while walking up to him.

          "Hello Mrs. Seavey," he replied back, smiling. I felt a blush creep up on my face as we entered the fair, heading to the rides.

"Smooth. I'm surprised you were up at this time" I acknowledged. Daniel shrugged, as if being up at this time was normal for him. 

"I'm usually up working on my music or hanging out with my bandmates. We rarely have free time during the day so we usually hang out at night" he explained. We then walked up to our first ride, zero gravity...

.

 "I got this" I announced. I gave the man $10 dollars and started tossing the rings. I got all but 2 rings on a bottle, which let me pick a prize. I picked out a small plush octopus, giving it to Daniel and with a wink. "You should have it. As a thank you gift from me" He smiled, shocked and hugged the plushy like a little kid getting candy.

          After going on more rides we went to the famous ferris wheel. As we went higher and higher while the view of Los Angeles got greater. "The views beautiful" I whispered.

           "You look better," I heard him murmur. I turned to look at him to see him staring at me. "Much more beautiful than any other person or view I can see.." I felt my heart start to race as I felt myself getting closer to him than ever before. As we leaned in closer I felt all my worries vanish before he gently pressed his lips against mine. Time seemed to freeze. Everything around us seemed to disappear. As the ferris wheel moved towards the bottom we pulled away.

"Holy-"

...

          "5 am. I should get going now." I start walking hand in hand with Daniel to the exit. "Before we leave...we should take a picture of this moment." I take out my phone as Daniel does the same thing. We both take selfies of this moment and leave. "I had an amazing time with you Daniel."

           "I can say the same for you y/n. Stay safe. Text me anytime." He kisses my forehead before we take our separate ways.

          I arrive back home and go into my bed, able to fall asleep. Right before I close my eyes though, I get a text.

Dani

I love you, sleep tight 😊

Princess

I love you too, goodnight☺️☺️
