The beating of Catalina's heart rang loudly in her own ears. Catalina was in subtle discomfort, not just because she was going to be lectured, once again, by the billionaire... but because the salty ocean water that still lingered on her was frying her skin under the merciless sun. Her skin had already begun to peel off in disgusting clumps onto the sizzling concrete below Catalina's feet.
Catalina pressed the intercom button at the gate of Tony Stark's home for the third time, annoyed that the superhero would call for her and not be at the place he told her to meet him at. "Jesus, fucking—" Catalina began to grumble as she turned on her heel to walk away. However, she immediately stopped in her tracks when she finally heard the gates to Iron Man's home open.

"Sorry about that, Lina." Tony apologized to Catalina as he led her to his office and sat her down in the chair in front of his desk.
Catalina crossed her arms. "What do you want, Mr. Stark?" She struggled to clearly speak behind the barrier of her thick Brazilian accent.
Tony smiled small at his, seemingly, only competition in the world. "I need your help, Catalina." He told Catalina, with a playful smile still dancing across his face.
"And what does that entail?" Catalina leaned over to prop her head with her hands on his desk, watching her childhood idol closely.
Tony chuckled. "Making you a suit... and it may or may not be influenced by suit worn by a new friend I made." He told, pressing a button on his desk. Suddenly, a small hologram projector revealed itself from the wall behind Catalina and began to project a design of a sleek black suit with claws coming out of the fingertips.
"Didn't your father do something like this for a friend before?" Catalina snickered, recalling all of the secretive SHIELD stories she had heard while signing the Sokovia Accords.
Tony contemplated her words for a moment, trying to recall that story. "I don't know, must be a Stark trade." He shrugged.
"Must be." A high-pitched, juvenile voice squeaked out into the room.
Catalina instantly shot her head around to peer at the person whom had just joined the conversation. A young boy, dressed in a red and blue, skin-tight suit while holding a cold glass of water waved at Catalina. "I'm Peter Parker, or Spiderman. Whatever you wanna call me. Hey, I haven't seen you before. What are you a pirate or something?" The young boy's sentences overlapped each other because he spoke so rapidly and so much.
Chuckling, Catalina raised her finger to point at the boy's glass of water. She felt her mind focus on the element and she quickly forced the liquid out of its container and onto the boy's face with her mind. "Woah, how'd you do that?! You're like 30 feet away from my cup!" Peter exclaimed, his hair dripping with the water Catalina had just soaked him with.
"This is Catalina da Silva, the Serpent of the Sea. Now, Peter, this is an adult conversation... so could you just," Tony shooed Peter with his hands and Peter seemed to receive the message, for he was beginning to back away, "yeah..."
"Oh, sorry Mr. Stark!" Peter apologized, then quickly scurried away.
Tony sighed. "That was my new recruit." He told Catalina.
"I didn't realize that you needed my help that bad." Catalina joked, causing Tony to crack a small smile.
