"Great! Another broken white boy for us to fix. This is going to be fun." T'Challa's younger sister, Shuri, cheered as she looked over Ross as he laid before her.

Catalina was in awe staring at all of the technology in Shuri's lab. Blue glowed everywhere due to the vibranium power. Her lab was bustling with new projects. Catalina felt like she was in Disney land.

Once Shuri was done fixing up Ross, she began to happily tour Catalina. The two hit it off. They were so alike and had similar interests. Catalina saw all the medical technology that could instantly heal people. All of T'Challa's prototyped suits. The magnetic train system in the mine that took vibranium to and from factories in the extravagant, glowing and golden city of Wakanda.

Catalina wandered the halls of the palace, completely lost but completely fine with it. She continued to mindlessly wander until she bumped into T'Challa. "King T'Challa." Catalina nodded curtly at him.

"Catalina," he bowed his head to her, "what are you doing here?" He inquired.

"Nothing. And you?" Catalina asked.

"Thinking." He admitted.

"About what?" Catalina pressed for answers from the mysterious king.

"Come eat with me. It's not safe to talk here." T'Challa suggested. Catalina looked at him suspiciously then nodded. She followed him to a dining hall, where workers were ready with food. The two were instantly seated and given plates of food before being left alone.

"My father, T'Chaka, was a good man. He protected Wakanda and it's natural resources. But, I just found out... he killed his own brother because his brother wanted to give out Wakanda to help the world." T'Challa explained.

Catalina nodded as she ate her food. "His brother had a son with an American... and, my father left him there after he had taken his father's life. Now, I think I saw him help Klaue escape with the same ring my father gave to me on a necklace he was wearing." T'Challa sighed out as he took a spoonful of rice and shoved it in his mouth.

"I have no say here, because I never knew the father. But, I know no one is perfect. We all make mistakes." Catalina attempted to comfort.

"He didn't even give him a propped burial. My uncle betrayed us, but my father... he may have created something even worse. Something that could be coming for us right now." T'Challa elaborated.

"Why are you telling me all this? I met you three days ago." Catalina questioned with a slightly raised brow.

"Because you are like me. Isolated and powerful. Because you intrigue me, and I know I can trust you." T'Challa told as he took another spoonful of rice.

"How?"
"You haven't stole our vibranium."
"True."
"You haven't told our secrets."
".."
"You haven't ran back to Tony Stark yet."

Catalina gulped. He knew she was sent there by Tony's orders. "I—" she began.

T'Challa shushed her. "It's fine. I know the world wants what we have. But, I know you won't betray Wakanda."

Catalina was silent for a moment. "Your fathers mistakes don't define you. You are going to be a good king." She assured him.

"Thank you," he smiled to her.

"No, thank you for this bomb ass food." Catalina made a sound emphasizing her satisfaction. T'Challa laughed at her and she began chuckling too, the two locked their eyes and suddenly couldn't stop laughing. Their stomachs began to ache and tears rolled down their puffy cheeks from laughing so much.

"Why— are we— laughing? It— wasn't— that funny." Catalina spoke between gasps of air from laughing so hard.

"I don't know." T'Challa smiled widely at her. The two finally stopped laughing for no reason and kept their eyes locked on each other. Their stomachs fluttered with butterflies as they finally got to observe the smallest details from each other. T'Challa noticed Catalina's perfectly set face with her high cheek bones and plumped lips. He sucked in his cheeks to restrain himself from acting upon his newfound feelings. Unlike T'Challa, Catalina was blunt and acted upon her emotions. Whether was love or lust, Catalina knew that she suddenly wanted to kiss him. So she did so. She pressed her lips onto his and quickly pulled back to see his reaction. She noticed that he had enjoyed it, so she returned her lips to his and passionately pulled his neck toward her.

T'Challa pulled away. "Why are you doing this?" He asked.

"Because I trust you." Catalina smiled at him as she mimicked his response.
