Then he starts to laugh evilly with Emily smiling and saying to herself

Lena's POV

-You have to shower dear

-But...I don't wannaaaaaaaa

Barret comes onto Athena's room and asks

-Babe what's wrong?

-Athena does not want to shower

Athena shouts behind the pillow fort she made

I laughed a bit and smiled and sighed and just hugged him and said

-I'm so glad you are here Barret

-I'm glad I'm back Lena

He said smiling, and kissing my forehead, this made me smile, I hugged his arm and sighed and said

-Think we should keep an eye on our little star shine while she showers?

-I'll do it, you rest, it's my turn to do some parenting stuff, and I haven't been doing it for six years right?

I nodded and went to our bedroom and tried to take a nap, it felt good to have some time to rest after years of being a single mother, I fell asleep five minutes later for about three hours, when I woke up Barret was playing with Athena on the living room to the floor is lava, I smiled, blinked behind Barret to scare him and make him fall.

He fell down and laughed and said

Athena laughed and jumped on Barrett's stomach making him grunt and Lena laugh.

Fast forward about 10 mn

Barret was on the couch hugging his wife and child, and watch a movie together under a cozy blanket, Athena fell asleep on the middle of the movie, and Barret and Lena were smiling hugging their child, Lena leaned on Barrett's chest and said

-Y'know love, I missed this

-What did you miss, being on my arms watching a movie, or hug a child while being in my arms and watching a movie?

Lena laughed and kissed Barrett passionately and put her hands on his shoulders and said

-I missed you in my life Barrett

-And I missed being here for you Lena, and now, I am also here for her

He says patting gently Athena's head making Lena smile and kiss Barretts cheek and say

-I love you Barrett

-I love you too Lena

After that Lena kissed Barrett again, he grabbed her waist and gently rubbed its sides, making Lena giggle a bit, then they cuddled on the couch and fell asleep, hugging Athena smiling due to the fact that now, they were a complete family.
