Wings of Wax

Streaks of warm colors and pigments of cool
Awed by your morning glory, I may be a fool
Luminous golden locks and a flaming smile
Your fiery beauty is seen from a thousand miles

Cottony sheets conceal your hidden misery
And this facade obliterates your glowing mystery
While you restlessly lay upon a heaven of blue
Creating vast seas, your sorrow can't be subdued

Unable are you to evaporate your stormy anguish
The warmth of bliss may deliberately vanquish
So, here I am, molding plumage from white wax
For I must bless you with the comfort you lack

Although you try to melt away my plan of aviation
Forever, I shall withstand your rays of prevention
Your bright heart must never dissolve in despair
These wings shall deliver you with everlasting care

A/N: Remember, no matter how deep you'd plunge yourself into darkness, there will always be someone who'll try their best to pull you out. And even though you may push that person away constantly, it's guaranteed that they may never want to leave your side.
