Chapter 2

Edith's POV

I small sigh leaves my lips as I sit down on the green grass, I was in basically the most beautiful part of the forest that's on our territory.

A beautiful lake was in front of me, the water a beautiful crystal blue. Flowers all around the lake and around the bushes, a few ducks sitting peacefully in the water.

It was basically what you'd only see in a fairytale, it was like magic. I always came here when I needed to think, I look down at my reflection in the mirror.

I didn't know what to do, I only wanted harry. Even though he told me he'd reject his mate, I had doubts he wouldn't.

I stayed in my thoughts for a while before a scent went up my nose, a scent mixed with rain and vanilla. It was the most amazing smell in the world, my wolf started screaming at me

'Mate!' She screamed at me 'go find him!' She was quick to add.

My breathing got quicker as I could hear foot steps in the distance, my heart beating a hundred miles an hour.

No. Was my only thought, I never wanted to find him. I didn't want him, I couldn't. I have harry, he's the one I want. The only one.

'No we want him!' My wolf screamed at me, she was giving me a headache already. I quickly stood to my feet, his foot steps where getting closer. I felt scared in all honesty.

I wanted desperately to run over and embrace him in a massive hug, but I also wanted to reject him and be with Harry.

'No!' My wolf screamed, i was about to walk well more like run away but a figure came into view. Making me stop dead in my tracks, I could tell he was fighting with his wolf.

He didn't want me either? That was a good thing. I could sense power coming off him, he was an alpha? What was he doing on this packs territory?

"Mate" he groaned as he started walking over to me, he was tall. Maybe 6'5 much taller then my 5'2 self, his athletic build would put Harry's to shame.

His mussels where all on show as he wore a a grey tank and a pair of cream coloured shorts, his brown hair wasn't short but wasn't long. It reached his ear basically as some fell over the side of his face.

His brown eyes stared into mine, I could see them trying to turn black. I wasn't sure what to do, he seemed so intimidating and powerful.

"Hi" was all I managed to say, god I'm stupid. I needed to reject him, yet I couldn't. I couldn't speak. He looked like a god standing in front of me, I desperately wanted to hear his voice. Feel his touch.

"Lets get one thing clear" he starts, his voice was cold and showed no emotion at all. My wolf whimpered at his tone. Was he rejecting me? No I'm supposed to reject him. "I don't want.." he was cut off by a voice coming from a distance.

"Edith!"

That voice was Harry's, I knew his voice all to well. He came over his eyes meeting my mates, a growl leaves his lips as he pulls me behind him.

"What are you doing on my land?" Harry asked using his alpha voice which made me look down.

'Please let me go to my mate' my wolf whimpers, I sigh as I block her out even though it's basically impossible to do so.

"Get your hands off my mate!" My mate yells his voice showing complete jealousy as he starts coming closer. Harry's eyes widen as he looks back at me, his eyes basically asking me if I'm rejecting him.

"I don't want you" I tell my mate as I look away from harry, my mate stops in his tracks. No emotion shown on his face, I gulped nervously.

"You are not being with another now get over here!" My mate demands loudly. "I'm alpha Jason and if you want a fight I'll give you one, but you are coming with me"

I looked at him wide eyes, alpha Jason? The most feared alpha? The alpha who will kill anyone with out a second glance? The alpha who doesn't show emotion? He's my mate.

Panic grew inside me quickly as I grabbed Harry's hand, making Jason growl. It seemed as if he's wolf has taken complete control, he was jealous and it was showing.

"Shall I mind link my pack" he threatens

"No" I say quickly, there was no doubt that his pack would kill ours with in seconds.

"Good then meet me back here in an hour, go pack your things" he demands before walking away and going deeper into the forest, what the hell just happened?
